It is a misleading comparison.
Proto suit versus MLT tank is not even remotely reasonable.
Besides, if you go through the LP store, you can get your proto dropsuit down to ridiculously cheap levels as well.

Why do you consistently use this 20s swarm crap? If it took you 20s to kill a tank with swarms in 1.6 you were garbage.
Tanks are not cheaper than suits. MLT tanks are cheaper than proto suits. Show me a proto suit that costs 400k.
Keep hoping they nerf tanks hard. It might happen it might not. I'll adapt either way, but if you don't get those nerfs you will still be a cry baby.

If you can't kill a tank that costs 100k, you should just stop and quit the game right now.

Practically immune? You mean during the 45 seconds or so of module cooldown? So the tanks spends a quarter of its time being damage resistant, and you turn that into practically immune.
You are right, a tank can be practically immune to incoming damage. For all of 20 seconds, then it is cooldown time. Which on a cheap tank is a long wait. If you can't kill them in that extended weakened state, than no amount of nerfs to tanks will help you.
