alot of tankers have a warped view on what teamwork actually is.

2+ guys assaulting a position together - teamwork
logibro doing his thing - teamwork
scout sneaking in behind enemy lines capturing points and dropping uplinks while the main force draws the enemy away - teamwork
tanks assaulting a position with guys on the ground - teamwork
tanks dropping off his crew so they can cap an objective while he offers covering fire - teamwork

what's not teamwork

1 guy assaulting a position by himself - not teamwork
an assault logi - not teamwork
assault scouts camping objectives instead of capping them to aid in winning the fight - not teamwork
tanks assaulting positions when there are no friendlies about to cap it instead of supporting objectives where there are friendlies about - not teamwork
tanks not fitting small turrets so as to allow crew in so that when he does assault he can drop them off or offer safe haven inside - not teamwork

as we have seen from day 1 of 1.7 every tank has all its small turrets removed and they are flying around the map like its gta. most of you may believe your being a team player because your killing people but caping objectives and protecting them is the game not seeing who kills the most. the stupid thing about it is people are doing all the above not teamwork things in faction warfare and losing the fight when only winning actually rewards you.

if a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound.... this is exactly what most tankers are like, making noise where no one can hear it or in dust terms killing where killing is not necessary to the victory

i did a stint as a dust tanker but it wasn't for me. need to get my hands dirty. do i support tanks..all the time, do they support me, virtually never and thats the only real issue with tanks, there is no reason for them to work as a team.

i know a few well known good tankers who do all the above teamwork things but unfortunately i know 99% more who do only the non teamwork things.
