i think the hit indicator graphics is too much! The old one was fine. We don't need to have our screen filled with blood(?) while getting shot. We are in a dropsuit with shields and armor. It is distracting and unhelpful.
On the topic of dramatic deaths, they are too dramatic. They make this game look like a joke. Since you guys are still developing this game, can we have a mature game that reflects the horrors of war. Pre 1.7 I admired how some clones died. Right now we have clones flying from any projectile that hits them. It doesn't look real.
Sidenote: I saw a merc shoot my corpse (he was thorough), yet I still had the call for help option? |

We're dealing with crazy high powered scifi tech, it makes sense that it would have such effects on our bodies once our defenses are destroyed.
Everyone keeps saying the hit indicator looks like blood, but to me it looks clearly like a digital pixely pattern with my HD TV connected via HDMI. I don't think its blood, its just a computerized alert system built into our HUDs, like that blue or yellow graphic around the edge of the scree that sometimes happens to indicate shield or armor damage. I like it more than the last hit indicator; last one took too much space around the center on the screen.

You are stupid, everyone knows you become immune to weapons once you die, you cant die more. CCP I beg you please do not fix this blatantly obvious mistake. I fully expect to be instantly revived with a injector after the enemy has emptied a couple clips worth of AR ammo into my head, after all its just like every other logical thing in this highly accurate game |

There needs to be a better "receiving fire" indicator. the last one was fine. It told me where the shots are coming from. Sniping is a bigger joke. You shoot a merc and he goes cartwheeling. Add a little more realism. You guys had it in 1.6. |
