I'm playing around with a DMOD fit for PC, but the sucker requires a CPU extender, so it is a dicey proposition at best.

Never a plate, they just screw up trying to fit anything else, and waste a valuable low slot that could give you more HP in the form of a hardener.

Indeed. I just need something to sub in until Amarr HAV pops up 10 years from now.

My current infantry tank is 2 plates, 1 large repper, 1 large blaster and 2 scanners, all basic.
My tank buster fit is 1 plate, 1 resistance, 1 large repper, 1 large launcher, one overdrive and one scanner
I don't have the skills to keep hardeners up most of the time and the plateless fits I am running through I am absolutely destroying the ever loving slag out of them, if not by the missiles by sheer mass of mine ramming them and me surviving it.

Not a bad idea either I have seen lots of tanks with more than 4000 armour rolling around.

Mind you have no fittings skills trained up either and these are all freakishly tight fits there is no way I can upgrade these modules without emptying out a high or low slot somewhere.

I have about 3 in all Core competencies, even the one I didn't read that only lets your use clone spawn units......shame on me for not reading..... I could be in maddies right now.....
