For the TTK, unless you are a heavy, you have near to zero survivability outside of mcc sniping and playing tag with some friends behind your pretty red lines. For the advanced assault variants of the racial rifles (ASR, AR, RR, and CR) the average dps is around 450. Most medium suit fits are about 300-400 hp. Better medium suits fit around 800 max. That means about 1 second, about 2 if you are tanked well, of time before you are dead. Hell, even standard smgs are ridiculous, with around 380 dps if I remember correctly. With a standard smg I can cut through almost all assault and logi fits in 2ish seconds, and a heavy in 3-4. Though this high dps with virtually every weapon is great, this game would be much more enjoyable if survivability was a little higher. I suggest reducing damage across the board for automatic weapons(exceptions being vehicle weaponry) by 20% or so percent. A 20% damage reduction would bring the dps of the advanced assault CR from 440 to 352, the advanced assault RR from 450 to 360, the advanced AR from 406.25 to 325. That would add another half second to the survival of any fit under direct fire. At the moment, Dust seems to be drifting towards the path of the common run and gun FPS (albeit an in-depth one). A damage reduction would help bring Dust back to the intuitive and tactical shooter that we all want.
For the militia tanks, they just seem to dominate matches now. Militia tanks are dirt cheap (around 80k for a decent fit) and they are massive force multipliers. I have been able to survive proto swarms with the help of my fuel injector and armor reps, which seems wrong seeing that it is proto versus militia, and I have been able to rack up kills for absolutely no skill investment. What I suggest is dropping one high slot for the armor tank, dropping one low slot for the shield tank, lose about 2k hp from each tanks primary hp source, and reduce the damage of militia weapons. I have always wanted more vehicular warfare in Dust (and I love the massive tank battles that have been happening), but these militia tank battalions are taking the fun away from the infantry side of the battle, and are stealing the glory of the pilots that actually skilled into vehicles.
