Lol, don't use the militia booster, i trashed tanks before this patch and I'm still trashing them. That's what pixels are for.

I'm trolling. I have a sense of humor. I found these airsoft tanks online and saw a humorous connection. Relax!!!
I don't mind making fun of present complaints esp. since ppl seem to be taking this game too seriously.
The post was mainly about the airsoft tanks. The AV whine is a nice wrapper though.

Yes, I was. For three games no less. Two swarmers finally got me on one game. Another a tank kept rolling around going at it with me. The third I was on my sica with a bunch of tanks rolling around on Line Harvest.
BTW. Do AVers even realize that the shield tank naturally goes faster? You don't need the speed mod.
But, your dire concern for the imbalance is why I trolled with this post. The airsoft tank part just went right over your head man.
Look at the link dammit! $400 for toy tank! It shoots airsoft pellets! I want one!

Played an Ambush match, today. Public contract. We got tank rushed. It was horrible.
Kind of hard to play my tank-buster game when I'm surrounded by 10 of them and my whole team gives up hope, right away.

Then I've been in a couple where we lost with 3 enemy tanks on the field and constantly being spammed every time me and two friendly tanks took them out. Again, it was the infantry that made the difference. The tanks just held each other off.
So, I still have not seen tanks make that much if any difference when the real problem still remains; which is protostomping. The proto infantry teams still easily overcome the non proto. The tanks just helped to control certain things.

Ambush match, mate. No objectives.... just turn the other team's clones into paste.
Tanks surrounded the infantry, and cut us down like weeds. "Smart spawn" still isn't very "smart", because we kept spawning right back into the "mosh pit".
It was probably the least fun thing I've ever done, in DUST. But the 170k ISK for putting up with it sure softened the blow... especially since I was the only one smart enough to switch back to noobsuits as soon as I realized what was happening to us.
