Where is the much needed range boost for shotguns? Why not atleast change the sound effects for shotguns from the dumb dodge ball noise Why increase muzzle flash for HMGs? Adding things no one asked for, ignoring everything people suggest.
Is it really this hard to take in feedback?
When I shoot at someone with a shotgun I can see, yeah, his armor tanking mitigated alot of that damage
When im at a distance from an HMG, I can obsereve thats not his optimal range and hes wasting his time
But no matter where I encounter all of these rifles, it is always 200hp gone in practically an instant. No matter what tier of whatever weapon, its ridiculous dps in every single encounter at whatever range ANd what are the penalties? An overheat mechanic that you could giltch through, and what is just a slight inconvenience that only scrubs encounter with their wild spray and spray? A very slight dispersion that initially is very forgiving and can be lessened by point investing?
I don't like to impose artificial handicaps on peoples aim, but why is the dispersion on rifles so forgiving? Rifles are effective in every context, whereas the shotty and hmg, through successive nerfs are very constrained within a certain perimeter, and even within there are outclassed? Both the weapons, and the suits/fits the player necessarily has on, all handicaps them in some facet against another player with a rifle of any kind. Why not impose clear hipfire handicaps, lower effective range on rifles, if this is how things must go? Would it really be so inconvenient when people can switch to ******* proto sidearms in an instant? Which is also possible for some reason?
I can see how the range/dmg shotguns and hmgs had created situations such as this that bothered people, but is it really fun to even play in a game where certain players are arbitrarily handicapped?
I don't understand how none of these issues have been addressed throughout months of detailed feedback.
I don't understand the point of this game at all

How is that these dumb rifles do this much damage, at the ranges they do, but sharpshooter for hmgs was this huge issue that needed to be nerf? It is inane pretzel logic.
How can 1.8 fix anything when the current state of things is the results of5 months of terrible decisions that did not adequately take in feedback ?
And look at all these monster truck tanks flying over hills and ****. How can anyone expect a well balanced update after this and the LP change? .
