and on the note of balance, it is day ******* 2 of this update, both sides need time to get used to and explore options for their respective styles, what this means is that everyone needs to get used to the new active module system, and more importantly pay more attention to what their damage type is, for example if i'm in a shield dropship with a 60% hardener on, don't expect to get anywhere shooting me with swarms, the damage you do is so little i can actively ignore till the last 5 seconds of my activation time, then i pull back out of range. if there's a forge gun shooting me however, i still panic and get the hell out of there, though hugely reduced with hardeners on FGs still kill me pretty quick, hell two FGs in tandem will punch through my hardener so fast half the time i don't have time to activate my booster. so, use the correct damage type for the correct tank, its as simple as that. though i will admit swarms could probably do with a damage buff, i speak as a shield user though, so i don't know if that's appropriate compared to how they fair against armour vehicles.
as for tanks, they are currently bugged, as such any balance discussions about them will be worthless till he bug is fixed, this is due to the fact that they are bugged, they aren't working as they normally should, hence any balance attempts will be against the broken model, screwing over the intended one. that said some, such as jason pearson (a tanker btw) have suggested reducing tanks base speed, so that it takes longer to escape the danger zone, hence giving AV more time to shoot at it.
and please, can we just leave all the insults, drama, raging e-peens, superiority complexes at the door and attempt a useful, civil, and productive conversation? This ^^^
