No, nonsense, CCP has never done this kind of stuff with eve online. *can count exceptions on my hand...* I've been playing that game for 9 years, I'm here to support CCP, I can't stand watching this happen. I don't care that the numbers were changed, whats not ok is thinking it's ok to change the numbers 3 days before hand without telling the community. The dev blogs were released so they could make changes based on our feedback which is very important to us.
Obviously not for dust, only in Eve online do they make changes based on player feedback. The missle ammar ships are 100% taken from a player post, they barely tweaked his numbers.
Also in eve online patch notes are real. I'm getting sick of patches with SURPRISE FEATURES! |

Aero yassavi did the math, last post of page 2. 1LP is worth approximately 316 isk. So converting LP to ISK payouts look like this:
Level - LP - ISK Equivelent payout 0 - 326 - 103,016 2 - 375 - 118,500 4 - 432 - 136,512 6 - 497 - 157,052 8 - 572 - 180,752 10 - 659 - 208,244
1000 - 316,000 2000 - 632,000 - this level, and any number above it would be way too much.
Do keep in mind that salvage will be on top of these numbers, but from my experience its mostly a collection of milita / adv modules. I would value it at an average of 25k or less.
So while there are some items worth doing FW for, the ones with properties not available outside the Loyalty store, if you are just looking to gain wealth then FW is looking extremely poor for this.
200k a win is EASY to get in pub matches. 300-400k is not uncommon either, but is dependant on performance. With FW you are locked in to your rewards, and to even get up to the level of pub matches you have to grind and dedicate to a single faction for a good long while.
So tldr - CCP your being cheap and should double FW LP payouts.
Sorry you should of gave your feedback before the patch went live. Come on they released a dev blog, you can't upset becuase you already had a chance to give them feedback.

You are missing the point. People who play dust are terrible at design and great at missing the point. THE NUMBERS ARE NOT IMPORTANT
we were promised a LP reward system that increases more as you level up. A curve graph with less gains at the start and more at the end.
Then 3 days before release this is changed to a straight line. With the same gains per level.
If you aren't mad GET MAD. The LP cost and the LP payouts are NOT IMPORTANT. We should demand the design persented to the playerbase not the untested/ feedback free version they slapped into the game 3 days before release. |

If each level is increased a flat 50% you'd still have the same problem. the higher levels were suppose to give out a higher bonus. So the increase in LP rewards should be the lowest at level 1-2 but from level 9 to 10 there should be a large difference. This is following what they told us they would do in the devblog that came out a week before release... |
