It's difficult going from an almost-computer-controlled aim-assisted-zero-recoil weapon to something like this, but THIS is a gun, it's something which you have to aim with, and control! I think AR users still have a slight advantage over me as I filmed this whole thing with no proficiency skills and I have AR prof 4 but the rail rifle is soooooo good to use. But one thing, why introduce this and the combat rifle yet keep the aim assist so strong on the automatic weapons? People need to learn to aim, and so do I. But the difference is, I AM learning to aim, aim assist does most of the work for you with assault rifles. I like the Isakone for the distance, but the Kokalatta still works from great distances and by the time they identify where the fire is coming from I'm half way through their armor. Proto heavies are the only ones I can't eat alive. nice, I just happened to have SP through not playing, what setup do you use? I've given up on shields and just 3 enhanced damage mods, or I use a heavy, but they die too easily But with those damage mods any suit is easy to take down, you should try it out. I don't get how your opponents stand still so much or why my Rail Rifle or any other gun has allot more kick to it for me, but then again i use KBM and i assume thats with DS3 ? Looks allot diffrent then when i play with it, like its a whole other gun. nope that was ADV C/1 3x enhanced dmg mod Prof 1 2x enhanced plates ADV RR nanohive That was my best game of the day and I think they were all new randoms in Ambush, I never play Ambush but it was like playing a different game, that was my first and only Ambush of the day. Yes I was using Ds3, aim assist on (but going to turn it off) no vibration and 100/100 ADS and hip sensitivity. But when i am looking at Movies made with a DS3 opposed to KBM i cant shake the feeling as if under the hood something is left out of the KBM eqasion (on top of the AA that is already out) But still good shooting with that DS3, i cant hit a wall with it and like i said that was some good shooting on that map where you kept up with me. oh yeh, from what I've been hearing the 2 aren't on par, it makes sense that the native input method would be more effective although I can't make the comparison myself. Yeh if I had prof that game I would have won a few more gunfights, although that's passive and not skill but hey it's the truth, or my opinion Yeh some of my rounds get lucky, the hit detection has gone a bit off and I know for a fact some of my kills are due to that, that's another reason why I'm going to turn AA off so I can feel the gun properly. I read those converters add AA if you use them, so yeah they should...and no i don't wanna But i did a little experiment yesterday and dropped back into APB Reloaded to see how playing Dust for 10 months has affected my aim, now prior to Dust i hit a 90% roughly accuracy rating on the Sniper rifle there, aka i never miss a shot, like you could see below in my Accuracy montage. So i dropped in got my gun, played a game with the same setting as last time and ran 1/12 in APB R, thats a big diffrence from when i quit APB R as a human aimbot to play Dust, also the new ADS slider makes it so my muscle memory has yet to adapt again to the new aiming changes for i dunno the 10 the time...or so... maybe it being third person has something to do with it but yeh aim assist and the low sensitivity settings on DUST definitely don't transfer well to other games. I play BF3 from time to time and cannot control the recoil for the life of me. Kind of makes me want to try m+kb in DUST, I know I'll be good at it with practice, it's just all the sucking I'll do beforehand. You've Been Hit By You've Been Struck By A Smooth Criminal
