Zion Shad WarRavens League of Infamy 2012	Posted - 2013.12.12 16:19:00 - [1] - Quote DUST 514 Wall of Fame For the past month me, my crew & help with CCP have been working hard on a unique Awards project for the community of DUST 514. We have been looking for something not seen to much in other games. Something that allowed this project to be a bit more personal. So instead of running some popularity contest or play "pick the favorites", we thought it best to do some investigation and go in to the heart of the community's to find the true unsung hero's of DUST 514. The result was a lot more welcoming then I could have ever imagine. If you have seen my post (I'M ON TOUR) then you could gain a thought of how deep I'm willing to take this effort of finding players that may otherwise be over looked or over shadowed. I have been moving through Corp's with both my Alt and my main squading with players, hanging in Corp Chats and getting to know the player community's of DUST from the inside. Also with the work of finding Community Hero's we needed a place to house their heroic feats, so we built in to Multiplexgaming.com the "DUST 514 Wall of Fame". With the DUST514 WoF will be choosing a category or category's time to time and seeking out the winners who we believe to be deserving of a Community Award and having a personal Tile created of their achievement to be placed within the Wall. For this first month with the changes to Faction Warfare, we thought it best to seek out a DUST 514 Corp that has focused on and has been dedicated to FW through out the year. We believe we found our first winners in "The New Age Outlaws". This corp has been loyal to the Minmatar Cause and loyal to their FW Alliance known as "Winmatar" through out the up's and Down of FW. For this dedication they have earn their spot. So with this first award we are proud to announce The New Age Outlaws will receive their own tile on the WoF, a Spotlight episode of Podside(live this Sat 8pm PST) along with a special guest and a prize that can be shared between their leadership and deserving members. Congrats to you. Now this will not be the last Corp to receive a Faction Warfare Award and this is defiantly not the only category will be seeking winners for. We wish this to be flexible and do understand that sometimes or some acts can not be placed under a category. So please keep your community work going and keep your eyes open for future forum posts on the community. I'd like to continue building a great wall and the only way is one tile at a time. This community needs 3rd party apps to help pull it together and to continue to offer more than other games. I listen to the podcast, I just downloaded the new one about 30 minutes ago. It is usually very entertaining. This is the site I use to download them. No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

We want to help get this off the ground and make Minmatar FW a better place by ramping up q-syncing and making the majority of players on a team people who know what they are doing. This is everything we have worked for since Day 1 when we created this corp for the purposes of Matari warfare. We enjoyed the time Shad spent with our corporation and we were very humbled by this award. To those that are complaining... there might be people who have been doing it longer (although I barely heard of any FW-only corps when we made the Outlaws), and maybe there are people doing it better, but I know damn well nobody has more fun than we do and maybe thats the vibe Shad got from us as well. We're a family... we have fun, we all mess around with eachother, and we kick a lot of Imperial tail doing it. Once again Shad, thank you for the award, this is a very positive step for Dust as a community and we're proud to be on your Wall of Fame.

There may have been lots of corps doing factional warfare for the minmatar for longer or as My CEO stated better but, apart from having fun with it, we do it every day of the week. If there is enough people online to squad up, standard procedure is to do minmatar factional warfare. Even if we stay out of it for a match or two, our corp does about I would say 10 - 20 minmatar factional warfare matches combined minimum per day. So our name is out there even if not always in big numbers. That's a minimum of 3 hours of battle time (not to be confused with time spent online) per day but sometime going up to six or more. So that amount of corp exposure, couple with actually being part of a minmatar alliance dedicated to minamatar factional could be why we actually won. Everyone saying that there are others, yes this is true but, isn't it also true that in every part of the world major things go unnoticed and that for half the people that get recognition there is a dozen people that do it the same or better? This is the start of something; It's not the end. Many will be in the hall of fame for similar feats even as minmatar warriors. Plasma Cannon Advocate
