Last night I was TKed for the first time.
I flanked a Red and he was engaged with one of the Blues. He killed the blue just as I got my shot off to kill the Red. My blue ally had just tossed a Core, which caught me
I forgave him, because it was not intentional and he likely did not even see me sneak up.
So how about you folks, anybody been forgiving?

I had have had 3 team kills on me, I have dealt 3. 2 of mine were punished, 2 of the ones I dealt were punished.
The only one I disagreed with was the dumb fluck who watched me plant a remote, as i scooted off, he shot it, he died then punished me...

I haven't punished anyone do far since they were accidents.
I just hope everyone forgave me, too lol so far I'm still in FW. |

I haven't but I think I was forgiven after I revived a person and shot them with my smg, trying to use a repair tool instead lol

Color me sympathetic but I haven't hit the punish button unless it was obvious maliciousness or spectacular stupidity that caused my death. There are enough people getting the 24 hour ban hammer on account of bugs. |

This one friendly tank drove right next to me and shot me with his 80GJ railgun after I killed the SL guy who was shooting at him.
I forgave him, dunno why though.
I've been forgiven 3 times out of 3 (accidental) TK's.

the first two times during different matches I was like 'it was a mistake no biggie'
the third time, from a merc I actually thought of as anything but a blueberry, killing me with his HMG because he was too close and didn't stop firing as he turned just to die immediately after

Scanned an enemy outpost with LOTS OF REDS for my Squad. I deliberately scanned it so they can use an orbital on it. But I was pinned down and when the orbital came down I didn't get away fast enough. This wasn't their fault. |

I watch my fire and don't use explosives in the presence of team mates.
I expect blueberries to do the same, if they don't, they get punished.
Simple rules.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Some guy outside my squad tried to get into our LAV and was unable to. I was in the turret slot..., and the frustrated blue dot shot me out of the turret.
Punished the crap out of him.

Yup, forgave the only time I have been TK'd so far... I was being overrun by a full squad of reds. I was going to die anyway and the guy seemed to have been valuable to the team so far since he was like 10 and 3 for the game at the time.
Had he been 3 and 17 for the game I would have assumed he was an idiot and chosen punish, but this was just desperation spray and pray in a bad situation. |

Was playing in Minmatar FW when I got teamkilled by Sinboto. I knew it was an accident and let it slide. Next thing I know, the logi's in his squad picks me up and reps me. Talk about Karma!
However, if you blatantly TK me (like killing me and then going to hack yourself) expect some punishment.

I wasn't facing the friendly, so I couldn't see if he was aiming for me, so I just gave him the benefit of the doubt and forgave him.
Wont punish someone unless I know for a fact it was done on purpose.
And in your case, I would've punished him, anyone who spams grenades and gets me with one will be punished.

Weird, I've yet to be killed by a blue... But then again I do keep in mind where they are most of the time so I'm not running into fire.
The blue plebs are however not always that careful, sometimes while I'm a step back from a fence/ledge and clearly having an exchange of fire they for some reason decide moving in front of me is a good idea... |

Keeping aware of what is happening behind you, can throw some challenges in there. I can see how yours went down and I would have made the same call.
In my case it was not what i saw as a grenade spam situation. We were off from the main fighting, and on a low rooftop. Had I seen the Nade half a second earlier I could have jumped back off the building and been fine. Honestly i doubt he knew I was there as i had just come up the ladder and dropped a burst into the red after my blue was down. Blue was reloading when he tossed the Nade, he made a choice in desperate situation.

I drove, in my LAV, into a Railgun shot meant for an enemy LAV from my squadmate.
The shot cleared my (squadmate) gunner and only killed me.
It was actually one of the most beatiful shots that I have ever witnessed. My tanker then went on in the next match to headshot an enemy driver out of his LAV. 
He was auto-forgiven because it was an accident and I was the idiot that drive into the shot.

My forgiveness is based purely on if I know you or not, regardless of whether or not it was my fault. If I don't recognize you, then you're probably one of the random blueberries who has no clue what he is doing in FW and needs to be kicked.

^ killed by nades as well as a scout, not surprised in the slightest.
But being sinboto, I forgave him, mostly just because I don't care much having been in PC and the fact kicking someone hurts the team and I'll never intentionally hurt a fellow Minmatar, their origin doesn't matter you fight by me and you're Matari.
Unless you're an Ammatar on the Amarr side, then every piece of my gear goes up your ass with extreme prejudice.
And don't get me started on Amarr with Matari weapons, I tolerate the hmg due to the lack of gear being distributed, but if I see a light weapon or sidarm in an Amarr's handss I make it my mission to hunt them down for the entire match.
And Ammatar with Matari weapons sends me into beserk mode, blacking out, only to awaken finding the entire enemy clone supply decimated and my team looking at me in horror.
