Doesn't it feel good to win an FW match - to see yourself gain standing...acquire LP - do some good for your faction's empire?
News flash, winning is a sham.
Win you win a district, the opposing faction will auto attack it until it flips back to their district. No matter how many times you win, IT DOESN'T MATTER.
Now this would be fine if the factions had a 50/50 split, but as we all know, they do not.
This poor implementation of coding is what is at the root of most Amarr and Caldari FW T_T threads. No matter how many times they win, it doesn't make a difference, the star map remains unchanged.
Until CCP owns up to it and fixes it, Amarr and Caldari will remain in the hole, so might as well get used to it unfortunately.

It would take a coordinated few hours of plexing in 6-10 systems by Amarr/Caldari along with Eve side support of good teams to flip enough districts to start to turn the tide. Because there aren't enough good Amarr/Caldari squads, this is mainly the problem. |

so your saying if amarr/caldari won every game from now until then end of time things wouldn't change on the star map? |

Could solve this with the ability to select what system and planet to attack...or defend. Easier on us and much easier on the EVE side. |

Prrety much because every match we have is a defense and we gained a crap load people it will just swing the other way and minis and gals would be crying out.
If small force in plantside2 can still win we need to apply some that logic here. For example a failed attack leads to an instant counter attack so if the matri balls up 3 attacks they are suddenly on the defensive

Dust does not flip systems into either side's control. Eve online pilots do. Dust mercs make it easy but that's it. If you want to truly impact space, form a solid corporation of like minded pilots and mercs. Just don't scream foul when the other side brings a bigger blob.

Sigberct Amni understands.
Besides, wasn't it both the Caldari and Amarr (Dust side) that were saying they were going to take control of FW when 1.7 came? Seems to me that both are getting stomped at this time.
Long live the Federation.

this is eve, not an e-sport. having an elite squad of 16 is nice, but it isn't the sole determinant of the war. we have numbers.
there are no heroes. just play your part. we just lost our primary staging system in auga. we evacd and pushed backed from the brink.
it is boring to replay the same map repeatedly, though - for both sides. i will give you that. a lockout would be nice, or even better targeted deployment.
speaking of which, can you target a deployment via star map in 1.7?

No targeted deployments for dust yet although the team has said they want to implement that and the ability to field full 16 man teams. |
