CCP,
I am interested in hearing when Dust 514's CEO's will have some of the tools available to an Eve Online CEO. Specifically, using the corporate wallet to purchase gear as well as move ISK into the other wallet divisions.
Should corps expect any love in 1.8? 1.9?... "sometime in mid-to-late 2014 or early 2015?"... "when we feel like it and someone wakes up the guy that does corp stuff"?

This is something I've wondered for a long time. Why do they bother to put separate wallets if nothing can be moved between them? I would love more corporate functionality. Like maybe a Corp hanger or something along those lines, where players can deposit unwanted gear that can be given to players that need/want it.

I've been waiting since closed beta for a Corporation Warchest (Dust hanger)

I had almost forgotten about corporate hangars. I imagine we won't see corp hangars until CCP enables player item trading, which won't be enabled until the player market is enabled.
I understand that this isn't high on their list of priorities, but I would like to know an approximate time frame. I'm a CEO and these tools would make my job easier/more fun and add a lot of depth to Dust.

Since we have not heard anything about corporation tools since this thread was last on page 1 of GD... and we are coming closer and closer to 1.8...

Depressingly, CCP has put corp and alliance tools on more of a backburner. There is actually one really nice feature coming out Soon(TM), which is that FoxFour has added the DUST wallet/transaction log to the legacy EVE API. Which should enable corps to do some really cool things.
I'd like to be your CPM1 candidate

Meh. For something that would be better to have in a Player Market... I'll wait for it. 1.8 is for dropsuits, equipment, and weapons. 1.9 could have the player market and corporate armory but I'm fairly sure that 1.9 is focused on A.I.. So we could literally see the market 2.0 in 2.0.

I'll be banging the drum about the corp UI as usual at Fanfest. I've got something of a reputation for getting the Dev's to open up about it.
My current bugbear is the state of the corp wallet at and the organisation of it. Lack of chat admin. No Merc employment history. No medels. Mailing lists. Alliance Creation. Lack of titles.. actually, I have a lot of bugbears.
Until a corp CEO can fully run their corp using nothing but the Dust Client then the corp UI can be considered not fit for purpose.

Finances permitting, I'll be there. We'll tag team them.

Employment history and mailing lists are two huge features that I believe would be considered low hanging fruit. I would love to see even one of these features added in 1.8 or 1.9.

Agreed. Sometimes I wonder why CCP even allowed Dust mercs to be CEO's. We have few real powers and you really are better off letting a capsuleer run your corp.

Unfortunately even an Eve side CEO can't award decorations to a merc. I created a medal for exceptional tear harvesting but couldn't give it out. |

Truly an atrocity. What kind of game doesn't allow CEO's to recognize tear harvesting expertise, I ask you?!

My Ceo made one for the Caldari Prime Event because we only joined battles on the Caldari side during that event and in then end the battles were tracked by CCP and the CALs won that. So he made an award.....just a fictitious thing and spent the money but couldnt give it to us.

Tools do exist now for us Dust Mercs but they exist EVE side...bummer. CCP FoxFour
I imagine this kind of data, which doesn't place a limit on the number of entries you can see, can be used to show various merc particpiation via their collected taxes.
