took 20-30 seconds with proto AV to kill a tank alone with continous fire and this only happened when the driver was bad and did not move. |

If you are getting hit by swarms, it means you haven't run over the enemy team with your Soma.
If you aren't running over the enemy team with your Soma, then you neither fast, nor furious, enough to catch this Turbo Soma Driver.
I think if you break 20 kills without dying (my highest was 14 kills) in a Soma while running over infantry, you should be able to put a spoiler/wing on the back of your HAV.

AVers can't adapt and were massively pandered to back before this build, they're unable to focus on anything other than "OMGTANKBOOMBOOMBOOM", it doesn't matter if it's a Shield tank or an Armor tank, ITS A TANK ITS A TANK!
I squad with players and listen to them, "Tank on the field", can you clarify what type it is? "Does it matter?" Yes "I don't know what it is but my swarms aren't killing it and it's flashing blue" So it's a shield tank and you're using explosive weaponry, just stop.

Yes, because rock to beat rock is totally fair.
I haven't lost a single tank today. And I'm using cheapo Soma/Sica 's that cost around 70k.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

now look closely at most of the ground based combat.... now combine what you've seen with the changes that ccp has applied to this game round vehicles its almost as if they are trying to tell us something ..........
with almost all the adds they have released showing a heavy vehicle presence and the changes to vehicles i.e. price ect its almost like they want lots of vehicles per battle supporting infantry ..
iv said this before but anyone who waches any add for this game and then comes on here getting but hurt from vehicles is just plain stupid tbh almost every add shows tanks , dropships and lavs running rampant on the fireld with infantry scatterd between. just pointing out some blaring obvious truths here

proto suit dies in 0.5s to any weapon, tank with 20k+ ehp that is cheaper than my suit requires coordinated team effort. CCP obviously never tested the changes. |

Tanks are now simply dropsuits that take 3 or more specialists to kill.
I think it should take at least 2 to run a tank. Shermans in WWII ran a 5 man crew. BF3 needed 3 ppl in a tank for its max potential to be achieved. 1 person tanks are laughable. Teamwork should be required for that kind of force the same way tankers cry AV should be teamwork.
1 for driving / main gunning and 1 for module activation / gunning. Riding solo? Egg carton with no active modules.
It is balanced that way because for a tank to operate at max potential they get the drawback of less infantry fielded to interfere with counter efforts. How's that for risk/reward?
Besides, I can't think of anything more fun that a pro tanker picking up a random newbro and teaching him how run active modules then cruising the battlefield together. Wouldn't that be fun guys? We're all about fun in Dust! Build lasting relationships with your tank bluebuddies!
It would be as fun as getting a newbro to the supply depot to fit AV and then protect him all the way to your tank so we can destroy you while your whole team shoots at us!

pretty much this. my tank is cheaper than my proto suit but alot more effective. I am invicible to infantry as long as I watch my cooldowns & get out before the modules run out.
the nerfhammer will hit tanks so hard, you will be begging for 1.6 |

Honestly did loose track both side were crying the same and this time CCP listened more to the tankers. I am not all against a change but CCP should know by now that their way of multiple big changes is not very helpfull...in terms of balance. |

I like how pre 1.7 tankers complained saying that it should take more then a solo AVer to take out a tank since it costs so much.
Now that they are on par with dropsuit cost, it still should take more then one AV to solo a tank because they are a "tank".

So you "The Great Tanker" lmfao.... Are saying that tanks at it's Current form are a good balance with between AV and Tanks?! The nerf on swarm and AVs, not a problem. There should be some team effort taking a tank down. But When i see a madrugar flying over an objective on domination. And I mean Fly Over the objective!!! That's when i have some issues. I dont care about tanks buff AV nerf, but the Gone in 60 second BS is just ********. IF you think it's a good fix then you are as ******** as i always thought you were |
