I made this yesterday to show how you figure how to make FW pay for you.
You should be able to do some algebra to make some sense of how much LP is giving you at various categories of equipment. One of the best returns are proto dropsuits. I think normally they are about 89k isk, but on the LP market they are 155 LP and 8k isk. That makes them more than 500 isk per LP.
Which at that rate, if you get 350 LP in a match, that's like getting 175,000 isk.
The complex armor mod was closer to something like 200 isk/LP which takes closer to 875 LP awarded per match to be equivalent in savings returns.
You just have to be smart on what you spend your LP on. It would be most isk efficient to only use your LP on the most efficient purchases, but if you can make isk and LP faster than you can lose it, then maybe its worth it to you to have more goods you are getting with LP. |

I disagree with the OP and CPM's position. I love that FW is on a different tier in terms of reward and risk vs pub and PC.
I can clearly see where CCP is going. Next big thing: Dust player markets...the buying and selling of FW gear is where you will feel the isk payout.
There will be a ton of demand for less expensive faction proto gear with decreased fitting reqs. You can run proto with enhanced skills at less isk cost than buying from the npc market.
With the new FW, CCP has laid the groundwork for a functioning DUST economy.
Stop demanding immediate gratification and look at the future potential.
And fwiw: why are all of you people broke!? Maybe you should consider prioritizing your operating costs above your epeen needs.

There seems to be a big gap between lvl 4 and 5 standing because so far I'm at lvl 4 and I've only seen an increase of 100 LP per lvl... apparently once you hit lvl 5 you start getting like 1000 LP i think?? IDK but I will try and reach lvl 5 today to see the difference. |

By the end of the month people will be swiming in lp im putting together an adv suit to grind out isk in pub match once i can afford a 100 of that suit i switch to FW :-)

Yeah, unless they changed things (and knowing CCP that's a high possibility) then at level 5 that's when it starts growing exponentially so yeah. Reach level five and the difference will be noticeable. |

The lack of ISK payout adds a better element of risk to faction warfare battles. I like that It makes you think about what your gonna spawn in with. I'm loving the fact that I have access to things Im not skilled into because of LP. |
