Easier said than done when there is 2 Blaster HAVs circling underneath the Helipad I'm on like sharks, a Rail tank sniping at me from 400 M away, and a ADS Hovering over my head firing Missiles at me while I try to charge my ridiculously nerfed into oblivion Forge Gun.

My FG couldn't even scratch it with its hardeners on. thats the point of the hardeners, they eat up damage, as for the 3 shots, either that guy had some serius brick tank or he had boostes or something to eat that much damage. He activated his Repper midway through my 3rd charge up, but for all of the trade offs that come with the Breach FG, I would say that is one weapon that should be able to take out a DS or Tank in 2 Hits MAX.
****, a Large Rail Turret can now fire 3 shots in the time it takes to charge the Breach FG one time, plus they can hit from over 400m away.
So you tell me what is off balance.

Rendering is a separate issue.
While I do understand rendering may sometimes be a problem, it doesn't seem to be a problem when I get hit by a Railtank that is a good 300m past the Redline which I had no idea was even there. The farthest I have been hit by these is about 460m. That is 160m farther away than the FG is capable of dealing damage, with 3x the rate of fire...
Well, like you said, Rail vs FG needs to be looked at, especially considering the FG is a Railgun. Thanks for acknowledging that, most HAV drivers would just spout some stupid recycled catchphrase.

How long does it take to kill a Heavy with an infantry Rifle again? What about other infantry weapons: Mass Driver, SMG, Shotgun, et al? What about a Blaster Turret? Missile Turret? Rail Turret?
Yes 2 shots would be more than balanced.
