Today I drove into a friendly OB by accident in an LAV and I think he may have been kicked for it, which is very unfair for him.
I coulodn't avoif it because I had no warning and he couldn't have known I would drive in there.
There either needs to be some sort of damage forgiveness for OBs, like only half the damage done counts against the one who drops it. I think that if something as rare as an orbital is given to someone they should be held to a different standard when friendly damage is done. I don't think it should be eliminated completely though, OBs are much more tactical and aren't free kill spam with FF on. The risk coupled with the rarity of support means that they will become rarer and rarer.
There also needs to be an indicator on everyone maps of where the OB will likely be dropped. Friendlies need a visual warning, not everyone can be in the same chat or speak the same language.

Perhaps add extra visual aids, if only for the friendly team.
Or even something on screen like when you go over the redline.
"FRIENDLY BOMBARDMENT INCOMING - EVACUATE AREA", or the like. |

I have to agree, I managed to nuke 4 people today in an OB, I didn't even know they were there because they no longer appear on the map............. even with an active scan up ? so you're pretty much firing blind, I even asked in team chat if the objective was clear and got responses saying "I'm nowhere near" "I'm clear"
