So have been playing around a little on this new build, 2 things :
- when fire HMG all the flames in front of the gun is blocking the sight , I cant see the target, please remove it.
- we played around with tanks tonight, and I must agree, its very fun to use, but they are a little to strong and cheap, we took out 4 tanks just to play around with, scary I now drove towards Swarms and just killed them, they did little damage to me, and the forge was anoying but not to bad, it was just to test it, but as other have said if you loose one you can just take out another one.
I do think this must be fixed before next build, many infantry will leave if not. I am a Assault/Heavy myself but have put a little SP in to tanks. I think you must even out the odds a little, give the AV grenades back the power and increase the cost 50%.
My 2 cent.
I love the build but that is because I can run most of the things in Dust514 , but I dont think new players that cant do anything to tanks or DS will like it at all, and thats we need New Players. |

nerf tanks, the hmg is broken and needs to be fixed. as in the hit detection is lacking and on a competitive level its a roll of the dice to see if you get a good map.

See I think what this does is encourage vehicle use more. It makes vehicles very strong while reinforced and weak while cooling down. It also means that vehicles are more accessible to people at a cheaper price point, meaning we have more vehicle vs vehicle battles.
The number one thing I enjoy doing in Dust is HAV vs HAV battles, and in the last 24 hours I've had more of those than I have in the rest of uprising combined. I spend more time hunting and watching out for enemy vehicles than I do killing infantry now and I'm having a blast.
As for your analysis, swarms and AV grenades are mostly a distraction, they put pressure on my effective tank and make it harder for me to fight but not necessarily move. however, multiple fast-moving infantry units with swarms, or one or two forge guns, doesn't outright kill me but I still have to leave the area in order to survive.
