Its sad that there is so much backstabbing in EVE in general. People say they like it but if you ask me its a sign of weakness.
Honour-less dogs. Just to provide some context:
The back stabbing in New Eden makes finding people you trust more important. Friendships become more meaningful because trust is more important. Reputation also becomes more important. Trust is really the most valuable currency in New Eden. |

Surely the game works in such a way that, you have counter-measures to protect your ISK?
Like somebody doesn't JUST run off with all your money? You have to put them in a position to do it?
I know nothing about corps, hell I'm an NPC corp, but wouldn't you at least screen this guy before making him able to run offwith the money?
I got anon illuminati on Facebook form the MAG days and if he cared I'm sure I would have seen something.
Surely only one person should ever be able to control your finances? The CEO, Directors, and Accountants have access to the Wallet. Terrestrial Management Officers can use Corp funds to purchase Clone packs, but canGÇÖt take ISK out for their own use. Personel Directors, and Terrestrial Combat Officers donGÇÖt have access to the Corp wallet.
If a CEO wants further control over the funds they can setup a Bank corp on an Alt, and only give Alts of people they trust access to the funds in the Bank corp. This can also be used to give Alts of people from other Corps access to the funds without giving them access to the main CorpGÇÖs working capital.
The other advantage of a Bank corp is that the transaction record is not immediately wiped by people paying taxes on Pub match payouts. So it is easier to track transactions to make sure things are on the up and up. |

I should point out, for those that are complaining about the meta game, that while Vivi Nos likely made a lot of ISK off of this, CEOGÇÖs will be very hesitant to put him in a role that gives him access to their Corp wallet after this, and if he makes his own Corp, he will have more trouble recruiting good people with this on his record. In New Eden actions have consequences. |

Flix Keptick wrote:Why fight when you can just anhylate a corp from the inside? Way less effort needed Some Corps will be harder to anhylate from the inside than they are to beat on the battlefield, while other corps may contain the best FPS players, but fall like a house of cards at the slightest poke. Good management is as important as good solders in DUST. |

I think you missed the point of the Welcome to New Eden comments. |
