Well.. it's too early to tell since its not the weekend, but as of patch release.. no one seemed to care. And seeing the good bye posts, dust lost a few people. Eve-offline
The pendulum swung in favor of tanks this build. Now lets see the tankers help swing it in our favor by abusing it. Spike, and taki, and many who said, (which to their own credit were mostly talking about themselves) HAV will face HAV. They will not go for infantry killing sprees, or to pad their own k/d. Thing is NEW TANKERS WONT SHARE YOUR VIEWS OR CODE.
There are ways to get by these new tanks. (easier for scouts I'm seeing. weird) But from what I seen.. (since closed beta) is that the quickest nerf is brought on my tankers themselves. So infantry guys, relax. Hav guys enjoy your time, but if I were you, I'll be thinking of how not to bring upon ANOTHER QUICK NERF. |

eve online was 15$ a month for 11 years never had a player base this low... They need to go back to being great.
Think about you can't say dust is as well developed as eve online. It's like 2 completely different companies are running the show. The playerbase of eve after a year was 10,000 Dust is more niche, than eve online was 10 years ago |

And that's generally it. I only bring out my FG when a HAV kills infantry, not another HAV or a happen chanced LAV. "Live and let live" are words to consider. It's a cause and effect. When a surge of something happens, people are quick to point fingers and place blame. Take the Rail Rifle for example. It's Caldari technology, preforming like a Caldari weapon. The problem with this is that it's popular, hence all the "RR is OP!" things popping up. I don't see anyone shouting at the poor Gallente Logistic suit anymore, nor the Caldari Logistic. Sure, both of these suits are popular, but the weapons people used are getting blamed.
The moment HAVers **** up and start trying to do what was being done in beta, that's the moment that will ultimately cause their asses to get bashed with the nerf hammer again. I'm not saying don't use them (HAVs). Just "tone it down" a bit. There's literally nothing but HAVs on the field right now. I can't even call in a LAV to get around because the team limit has been reached.

there were a few. and one dude even made a post to list those that were quitting dust.
*poor choice of words tho. people don't like to be known as quitting. he should have used retiring*

They realy need away to get new player interested and keep them coming back. But getting proto stomped or put in a ambush with six tanks tearing it up isnt going to help. Now I know I aint one to talk about proto stomping , but I have half billion isk to throw away. There has to be a game mode put in place for the new guys and the academy isnt the answer. |
