Has anyone played on this new volcano map? I havent seen it yet and I played for a good few hours yesterday. If you have seen it whats it like? |

First background i played in after the update. The constant falling ash is pretty.

Darker than normal maps with a reddish light. Black, burning ash floating around everywhere. Volcano god in the background. Cool mood but the maps need damaging lava flowing through them.

Played for at least 6-8 hours yesterday and didn't see it. 
May Scout's rise up again, and bring forth terror upon their enemies.

It's kinda like the titan in the background except better because of improved looks of game. Also the ash sometimes make it look like their is a red dot nearby because it's red lol

And you would not believe how many times after launch I've jerked into aiming down my sights only to realize it that was just ash. I've gotten used to it now, but it deeply saddens me that I fell for it at the launch.

I remember seeing it in the very first match I played yesterday. The lighting seemed normal and the ash was barely different from the normal floating dust. The terrain was the sulfur we've had for some time. Maybe there are different variations and I was on the lightest setting.

I only noticed it during one match. Went almost the whole match before I noticed there was a volcano in the background; I thought to myself, "Huh, well that's cool". Played several hours yesterday so I could have played on one multiple times but I only noticed it once.
Never mind the president, let's overgrow the government.

I found the red hot ash really distracting because they sorta look like red chevettes out of the corner of your eye

Yes, damaging lava. Would make more sense in comparison to all the acid we just leave around important things.
