CCP:
Guys, I love your game.
I love to snipe.
I love the charge sniper rifle.
My wife wants to kill me when she hears the new charge sniper rifle sound. She says she can hear it on the second floor when I'm playing on the first floor and she finds it grating. My daughters say the sound bugs them too.
Please help me.
Maybe shave off the higher frequencies it uses at full charge?
Chicks hear higher frequencies than us guys. Seriously CCP, ask some of your female employees to listen to the sound two rooms away with no other ambient noise.
I don't want to turn the sound down so low that I can't hear ambient game noises.
Can you guys do something about this?

This is a good suggestion but I use a one headphone unit with a mic. It lets one ear hear what is going on in the house, so I can yell at my kids if I need to.

Nah this is Unreal Tournament's and yes very good "Headshot"
Can't beat that sound for adding a sense of achievement when hitting a headshot... Not having your ears hate you.

Something is wrong with your wife and kids because the charge rifle sounds beautiful compared to what it was. Seriously, the old sound was so terrible I would have ripped my ears off if it would have helped any.
