All suits are simply neo suits.
Weapons don't even appear to be skinned.
No difference in stats between LP items and normal items.
I'm sorry but LP store is looking pointless atm.

thank god I'm not the only one who thought this. Everything is identical except the added a name in front of the items like 'Republic Logistics mk0'. The only difference is reduced isk + LP points. I have a **** ton of isk so I'm not certain I understand the point...

Lower fitting requirements.
For example, the "Imperial Viziam Specialist Scrambler Rifle" uses 53 CPU and 16 PG
The Viziam Scrambler rifle uses 92 CPU and 20 PG
So if you took advantage of this, and use FW modules as well, you could fit more Complex modules into one dropsuit.

The specialist prototype weapons have half the fitting cost. At least the combat rifles do. Once you are high level and earning a lot of LP it could be cheaper to buy the LP versions of many things. I'm hoping this is just a starting point.

I swear it was said though that LP store items would be noticeably different than just stock items and also their stats would vary, in actuality the LP store is just selling neo suits and AUR items for isk and LP.

The Lolstore is best used if you fight for the faction you want to spec into to get proto level cheap and without AUR.

CCP FoxFour specifically said it was an alternate way to get Aurum items for those that refuse to buy Aurum. Then they were adding in specialist weapons that you can't get anywhere else. The faction suits are colored a bit different but they really should introduce a color or camouflage scheme for each race that spans all suits and weapons.

all items are similar to AUR items in that they require less sp to use. if you've wanted to use these items but didn't want to spend AUR, now you can. they're also pretty cheap. so fw can gear up a bit higher than before.
also the above mentioned specialist's weapons. they are really nice for those who have lots of sp and wouldn't want the other items.

Actually, in the FW dev blog, i'm pretty sure they specifically state that LP were going to be used to get P2W AUR gear that did not have an ISK equivalent. They were always going to just be selling AUR gear for in-game money, at least at first. |

Has anyone reached the higher teirs of standing yet? What LP rewards are you seeing?
By my calculation, the initial 360ish LP you get is about 140k in ISK. But thats only if you win.

The meta levels are higher and if you check the lists the LP store weapons are some of the best on the individual weapons lists . This is a great thing and will get better when everyone gets their racial gear . You can try out items before you actually skill for them . Some will hate it but others will like it . I love it and think it brings a unique feature to the game and it will only get better . Now I feel like I'm fighting for a faction because I'm using their items that bear their name .
Seriously .. you people need to stop knocking EVERYTHING . The things you should knock you love and what you don't like you really haven't and don't even give it a chance .
Bet you love those tanks though .

I noticed this right when they announced the store but no one seemed to care back then. I especially think it is stupid that the new specialist weapons are only available at prototype tier. Why not have it so Level 0 (no skills): Regular standard grade weapons available from loyalty store Level 1: Regular advanced grade weapons available from loyalty store as well as specialist standard grade weapons with reduced fitting. Level 3 Regular prototype grade weapons available from the loyalty store as well as specialist advanced grade weapons with reduced fitting. Level 5: Specialist prototype grade weapons available from the loyalty store with reduced fitting.
And then something with the suits. I think it would be cool if suits had a "+1 level" effect on the bonuses. For instance, say you get an Amarr assault suit from the loyalty store. If you are currently skilled up to level 1, you would get the 5% heat reduction plus another 5% heat reduction, so it'd be as though you were skilled to level 2. If you are currently skilled up to level 3, you'd get the 15% heat reduction plus another 5% heat reduction so it'd be like you were skilled to level 4. And so on and so forth. If you were skilled to level 5, then it'd be as though you were "Level 6" and have 30% heat reduction.
Also it goes without saying they should have different skins.
Give it time, I am optimistic that CCP will add more worthwhile items to the loyalty store. Perhaps even simply alternate variants instead of stuff that is flat out better. For instance, bring back the "Type II/B-Series" suits and only have them available through the loyalty store.
Horizen Kenpachi wrote:Reduced skill requirement on items and negates the aurum p2 win as poor peeps like me can get the good stuff Yeah, but now there are p2w boosters that increase your LP payout. You think it's not p2w? Imagine if there was a booster that increased your ISK payout from pub matches. It's close enough to p2w that its despicable.

Not knocking it, just think it was released way to early to provide too few benefits/items. Especially with the horror stories I hear with FF in FW to get those LP points. Not that I experienced any of the badness there, per say. Was just generally confused as my first glance didn't provide me any benefits. My lvl 5 logi suit still has room on it as far as PG and CPU. For ***** and giggles I looked at the suit to see if the colors differed at all, but nothing there either. I vaguely remember some specialty lvl 5 items (in RR or CR) that was only available in LP. Smart move to get more ppl to try FW and get that testing out of the way.
