Hello, I know that many of you, apparently less of those that frequent the forums, have had a bug that won't die. This Bug doesn't let you communicate and when you try and turn off voice chat you get kicked from the game by an internal error. Just so CCP has an idea of what is Happening I am posting this video that I made explaining a little bit about the bug and how it affects me. Please feel free to post your experience with the bug IF YOU HAVE IT, if not please refrain from flaming comments or any other comment that is not on topic like "turn PPT OFF" or "your mic is broken" because that will only show you did not watch the entire video much less have any experience with the bug. Other useful info is that I downloaded the patch before the game was online; while I don't know if this could have caused any problems I think it's better if I Cover all my bases. The reason I post this here and not in technical support is because I have had lots more luck posting here than elsewhere on any topic. So thanks for your consideration and time. I have enjoyed what little I have played of 1.7 and am looking forward to play "volcanic mood" because I have yet to see it. FW looks amazing although a friend got kicked after an orbital in which he killed no one and destroyed nothing so Thats wierd but apart from that THOSE RIFLES very good. The fix mentioned above was due to some older issues that have been fixed. Best thing is to send a petition ASAP after you see this happening with the alt you're using - the logs for voice only live for 24 hours so it will give us enough time to look into it. Thanks! Although this is stated; I created a channel called "FX MY MIC" and could still not communicate. This channel was created to give prizes out to anyone who helped me take care of this nasty business. The only thing that kept the protostompers at bay was at least being in a well organized team of std to advanced suits. with better tactics we could make a difference but darn I cant even listen to what they are saying so I just have to guess what they are goin to do. There was a file in saved game data that said dust so I deleted it. Lets see if this works. If not I will try and do this.... Fingers crossed. half my game is informational. Battles are so much smoother when I can tell my friends where the enemy is while I rep them because they apparently are always in bloodlust mode and just look forward.
