Some stuff is great!!!
A few niggles that can be fixed.
But this is more for delivering a near flawless patch. No ridiculous downtime, no connection issues, no people screaming about their refunds. I thought you guys could pull it off and you succeeded.
Have a few beers, enjoy the rest of the week.
Then get back to fixing scouts, racial symmetry and customization ops  |

- And I am a scout, I dont use any vehicles.
There are enough threads on that topic.
People were expecting doom and gloom and the game to be unplayable and all sorts of issues.
I downloaded with no problem, installed and played most of today with no real issues outside of some lag in a few matches. In the past CCP has had issues delivering even small updates and events. This delivery went off without a hitch.
The stuff that people are complaining about can be fixed (hopefully soon) but today on a whole was a very good day. |

The best part about this patch was that almost everything is working on the first day. After seeing some of the other patches and what has happened before, this is one of the more pleasantly surprising things.
I'd say this has been one of the best updates so far, and I'm looking forward to the future. Hopefully we'll see a few more maps, new heavy weapons, some iterations to PC (even just seeing the map beforehand would be a godsend), and perhaps even some installation dropping before too long.
There's still stuff that needs to happen to make this game better, but on days like this I want to think it will get there. |
