There needs to be massive changes, yes, but this.... THIS. This is more of a cry for help than a feedback. Thats because its a tank...you shouldnt be able to solo it with its active defenses up. I was doing exactly this earlier in my Gunnlogi with a single hardener and rather like the new aspects to the balance. Catch a tank when its weak with a group and it drops just as quick as they used to. Let me reiterate that it is a Tank.
May I introduce you to the FGM-148 Javelin? Man portable infantry based AV that actually kills tanks in one shot. Usually crewed by two, but can be effectively operated by one.
Now with that in mind... One shouldn't be able to solo a tank with a launcher that fires four homing missiles why? Oh right. HAV pilots like their easy mode.
The forge gun splash radius nerf has not diminished my ability to kill infantry with it. Thank you.

I truly don't know what to do as an infantry any more. When I tried this tactic twice in less than 10 seconds. 6x advance AV Grenades and 8x Advance Swarm launchers on the same HAV. My suggestion is running with 3-4 people running similar kits of advanced teir or better. As we have no alarms yet, get within close range using available cover and stealth. Coordinate your strike via voice communication of some kind be it in game or third party. When you strike, strike hard with no thought of ammo consumption. All of your squad hits multiple times and if done right will even drive the hardened tanks away. Its not about the damage you can put out, as the regen will cover one swarms hit delay before the next launch through regen and reaction. Multiple swarms are harder to deal with. Coordinated swarms are another thing entirely. honestly, toss out the av grenades, their worthless. Edit- idk why im giving you strategy against something I run...Too much fairness involved for a game where we pay for things i guess. I actually want to help you guys. But driving tanks is now immensely more enjoyable. x.x
If it should require three infantry AV to take a HAV, then to be balanced and fair, a HAV shouldn't be able to function at all without a crew of three.

Well if you actually look at what you're talking about... The HAV only requires one pilot for it to be a full functioning mobile large turret platform therefore lending to the premise of single player success.
If you have any real experience in Eve you would know that it is possible for a single cruiser, even a frigate, to lock down a battleship and solo it to death. Happens every day in Eve. Even industrials have been used to successfully make "lone wolf" kills.
AVers play for the team by sacrificing effectiveness against Infantry to be effective against vehicles. Now, at the current values, AV infantry is effective at nothing as an experienced and capable HAV pilot will now rarely loose a HAV. The risk to HAVs, and dropships to a somewhat lesser extent, has become quite low.

if speed: there was a typo with militia injector mods and instead of 10% speed increase its set at 100% so they shouldnt be able to run that fast.
If tank: was it glowing? Active resists make vehicles incredibly strong for a short duration. If you were trying to damage it with its hardeners on then you are doing AV wrong and you must change your tactics. Try shooting it when it doesnt have its hardener activated.....
Well next time I hit a HAV, it's not called a tank FFS, I'll be sure to tell the pilot he/she's not allowed to turn his/her hardeners on after the first hit. I doubt he/she'll listen though.

Technically in real life 1 bullet will kill a person but you don't see everyone complaining about not being about to one shot every person they come across. Side note i solo'ed plenty of tanks today with explosives.

Any excuse will do I suppose its either off because he hasn't used it or its off because of cool down you just have to take that chance. Whats even more frustrating is that AVers should know how long the hardeners last but they continue to shoot while its active.
Well I haven't had the luck to get one who's hardeners are stuck in cool down. And I already know it's useless to shoot while hardeners are active.

It doesn't make sense either way in Rl tanks get blown up by all sorts of things. You cant expect anyone to play a video game where if you shoot a HAV once it will blow up. Who would be in favor of something so stupid?
I don't want to OHK an HAV. At proto levels, I want pilots to get hit by a forge and feel the need to scramble to safety ASAP regardless of hardener status before the second and third shot land. I want pilots to see twelve SWARM missiles in the air and think "OH $hit!". I want pilots to see the plasma ball and pray a second accurate shot isn't soon to follow while their hardeners are down.

and since remote explosives stick to stuff now.. heres a good solution for u av lovers..
first spawn a cheap lav down.
get a std logi suit that has at least 3 equipment slots
fit a mlt smg to the light weapon slot your gonna be dieing in it any ways so better to find the cheapest gun available.
now spawn a cheap unfitted lav down.
stick all those remote explosives on your fit to the front bumper.
now get in the lav. and crash it into a tank at full speed. the destruction of the lav detonates the re. and the remote explosives blast kills the tank instantly. hardeners will not save the tank.
dont bother getting out you pretty much turned your self into a bomb on wheels.
fitting any speed modules on the lav to make it faster will possibly improve your new weapons effectiveness.
its pretty much guaranteed to work ive tried it out myself multiple times yesterday. also inexpensive as well. might be around 30k isk.
the sacrifice to your pretty kd/rs are well worth it. its also extremely fun. and funny too..
This is one of the stupidest "Do this or stop complaining." replies I've read yet. Not all AVers want to be Jihad suicide bombers. All light and heavy AV options should be effective, not just bomb car or scout/RE.
I still can't find tanks on the market. All I see are those HAVs.
