Try with 3x complex dmg modded Proto swarms......
Hit a Gunnlogi with it's hardeners down only to have it use it's shield booster to rep back to full shield. Then it activates a hardener and sits through my second clip....

Arent missiles bad against shielding? Even if it is proto...
Doesn't matter if it's bad against shields. The shields are on a vehicle, and my weapon is specifically made to counter vehicles..... Not infantry, VEHICLES!!!

Swarms now are only good for taking out installations. You'd probably be better off buying a MLT rail tank to take out installations anyway, at least you can kill infantry. |

I've killed tanks with my drop ship while their hardeners are up, and swarms can put out more dps. The logical part of me thinks CCP took a good idea with the vehicle balance (which I love BTW) and took it slightly too far. I think they need to reduce the HP of vehicles and modules, but make hardeners more effective, so that when you turn them on, you end up with the same ehp that we have bow. This emphasizes vehicles active hardeners, and makes the cool down of more concern. The other part of me, however, laughs at AV players, and I have no plans to stop my rampage until you have lost the equivalent isk that I have on my drop ships. Payback's a *****.
There goes that whole AVers are dumb a sh*t stereotype......
1 Javelin missile can take out a M1 Abrams or the equivalent, yet my swarm launcher firing 6x the payload barely scratches anything.
Pilots can kill infantry and other vehicles. Forgers can wound MLT dropships and annoy anything higher tiered. LolTanks use nitrous before 2nd shot even hits. Swarmers just wait to die... Useless against tanks and free kills for infantry.
Tanks got SP back, I want my AV sp back.
[EDIT] It's pretty easy to take out a take if you're hovering over it's blind spot. Try that in it's line of sight. Oh while in range of infantry. |

It used to be that if you were hit by swarms, you drop what you are doing, turn, and slam the throttle to the firewall. A hit from a proto forge gun would often spell death, as you would be unable to get clear before the second deadly shot hit. You would also have an incredibly hard time laying down fire as assault, as on top of the above, aiming was a ***** for the damage dealt.

(Oh, and AVs, now you can see how it is to be in our shoes...or suits!)
Hardly any difficulty being a tanker especially when you can 3 shot infantry with a blaster. |
