There needs to be massive changes, yes, but this.... THIS. This is more of a cry for help than a feedback. Thats because its a tank...you shouldnt be able to solo it with its active defenses up. I was doing exactly this earlier in my Gunnlogi with a single hardener and rather like the new aspects to the balance. Catch a tank when its weak with a group and it drops just as quick as they used to. Let me reiterate that it is a Tank.

Hit a Gunnlogi with it's hardeners down only to have it use it's shield booster to rep back to full shield. Then it activates a hardener and sits through my second clip....
STD Tank sitting through PROTO AV.
Arent missiles bad against shielding? Even if it is proto...

I truly don't know what to do as an infantry any more. When I tried this tactic twice in less than 10 seconds. 6x advance AV Grenades and 8x Advance Swarm launchers on the same HAV. My suggestion is running with 3-4 people running similar kits of advanced teir or better. As we have no alarms yet, get within close range using available cover and stealth. Coordinate your strike via voice communication of some kind be it in game or third party. When you strike, strike hard with no thought of ammo consumption. All of your squad hits multiple times and if done right will even drive the hardened tanks away. Its not about the damage you can put out, as the regen will cover one swarms hit delay before the next launch through regen and reaction. Multiple swarms are harder to deal with. Coordinated swarms are another thing entirely. honestly, toss out the av grenades, their worthless.

Yeah its a tank...armored antieverything vehicle. Your attacking it without armor...therefore you should and do die. Attack in mass or hide. Either way, gg unless your smart about it

Teamwork is great ......but it doesn't pay the bills ... No WP means your share of the winnings IF you win will be much smalller ....and most times wont even cover your losses. How can we help our teammates if we are too broke to do it ? Eve is about Risk vs Reward ......... for an AVer at the moment ( minus the cheap tactics of Jihad Jeeping ) it's High risk little reward ..... Look I'm not saying that the situation needs to be nerfed . It was fun fighting the new tanks and dropships even if a lot got away it made the ones did get feel that much sweeter . I'm just saying the reward system for AV needs to be balanced a bit better or we all will find ourselves with a lack of AV because it's simply not cost effective to run . I have even more incentive to ignore the tank and turn my forge toward infantry and that should not be . They do need to fix the assists for killing vehicles to actually pay out for doing like...over 200 damage or something. I dont get points for hitting vehicles with my rail sometimes. Would that be a satisfactory solution for this? Im just highly against one player being able to solo any form of tank other than civilian even if its in proto. Especially if the tanker is smart and knows how to run and fit their tanks.

It used to be that if you were hit by swarms, you drop what you are doing, turn, and slam the throttle to the firewall. (Oh, and AVs, now you can see how it is to be in our shoes...or suits!) Hardly any difficulty being a tanker especially when you can 3 shot infantry with a blaster. Hes talking about dropships mate. I love sniping those things with my rails. They just fling all over the place when their hit. Makes me giggle alot XD
