Seriously, did no one actually pay attention to that? Everyone I've spoken to about them refers to if they were broken, I'm pretty sure they're hench now.

Dude, +40% RoF makes this thing a monster! You can just pepper the enemies as you fly by and all it takes is one or two near hits to kill most anything. The aiming through your ship is a *****, but I have faith that some day we'll get a useful first person camera. From just the one match I played it seemed like I could get 5-6 shots off in rapid succession with no worries of overheating. Oh man I've never been this excited to fly before >_<

Implying you can hit anything reliably with a railgun.
Screw it, I'll give it one more shot. But if I can't kill a stationary jeep in with one clip hovering right above it, I'm out. (This was my test pre 1.7 when I started flying dropships. They failed miserably.)

Dude.
Rapid. Fire. I suck at maths, but it does something like 400 damage per shot to anything in 1 meter radius, and it shoots like, 4 shots a second
You have to choose between blasters and railguns now, so I made a judgement call based on god tanks, and decided I'd lean more towards AV, not knowing how gnarly it is vs infantry

No clue but it's fun as hell on the dropship, not sure if it's just the 40% RoF boost I'm getting or what but it's wicked fun. Not easy, but fun.
