You where never that great, but now you become useless. So every buddy, I guess we will run CCP most favored race? Caldari suits. (I'm sorry for the heavys) My EVE pilot have more ISK then your peon corp.

CCP just needs to finish making the rest of the damn shield suits. Actually, CCP just needs to finish making ALL the suits.

What confusing forums... Meh. Basically, as I keep telling these people, the reason shield was so poopoo was because all the shield killer weapons. Since RR and CR are, uhh... popular... right now, there's a lot of armor tanks being stomped on, so now they'll flock to shield. Most likely Caldari. Remember when people were crying that the Caldari Logistic was overpowered and suddenly it got quite for a while, then, out of nowhere, Gallente Logistic was overpowered? Yeah. The people around here couldn't factor the reasoning behind the whys and whats that it's... sad. Note: No negativity was directed towards you. SWEET MOTHER OF TERESA ON THE HOOD OF A MERCEDES BENZ, YOU SOUND LIKE A MAJESTIC EAGLE! DO YOU SING?!

If you're armor, someone eventually will come around with a kinetic or explosives and melt you. If you're shield, someone eventually will come around with thermal or EM weapons and melt you. The reason people are seeing this as a problem right now is because the new weapons are popular and happen to do well against the current FotM which is armor tanking. As someone else said, everyone will freak out and go into shield, and then get melted by scrambler rifles, then back into armor and get melted by CR. Until now, I will hide safely in my LAV gunning everyone down because these blasters are awesome.

Combat Rifle for example reduced shield damage 20%, increased armor damage 20%. Back to topic. How do you play? Are you a sniper? ;) I'm playing logi all the time, and I think that the rail could be the weapon that give me the most survivability, but on the other hand, I need to be very close to my squad members. Yea, I will look into that new data thing that SoxFour released and see if I can make a better weapons list. Usually I'm using a ADV Minmatar Logi. (418 total HP; weekly KDR is at 4.81 right now) Pre-1.7 with an AR, post-1.7 with a CR and with Hives + Uplinks + Scanner. Help your squad with spawns, ammo, scans and kills. You really have to be fully aware of what is happening around you and you should never run straight at people. If you catch them from a flank or behind, engage.
