Problems always come up on patch day. Eve Online players suffer this problem as well every time a new expansion comes out twice a year. It's just part of progress.
The first week is usually the most buggy anyways and therefore it makes sense to report all bugs in a proper and constructive manner over at the technical section of the forums. Voice comm issues, lag, unexplained drops from matches, etc. are usually expected on the first week of deployment.
That said, CCP has at least been historically known to stay on top of these problems during the first week with hot fixes that get deployed immediately on downtime.
So take a dose of Ritalin and calm down. The problems will be fixed.
OK, CCP. When are knives finally going to be improved?

Then welcome to New Eden.
Updates here never go smoothly on the first week and we made it a habit to lower our expectation every time. You should do the same.

I can't begin to count the times I have seen this used as an excuse for poor game development and lack of QA by CCP and it's players on both Eve and Dust. If ****** programming and no QA is a hallmark of CCP people are proud of then I have no words...
Don't ever confuse that phrase with lack of QA.
CCP always does QA before they release their updates. The problem, just like in Eve, is that what you see in controlled environments is not always exactly how they turned out in a live environment. The only way for CCP to know exactly what will happen is if we receive the patch.
It's like creating medication. Testing experimental meds on a few hundred volunteers will not give you all of the results of the side effects. Mass distribution will.
