I got 100% download then it transitioned to installing and I received a corrupt error message and now I had to erase the full client and re download the whole thing again. |

No, but this use to happen to me everytime I had to update a game. The fix for me was to manually set my network settings on the PS3 to a fixed IP. |

This happens every update, I find it's linked to your internet connection so I just stay off my computer.

Used to happen to me a lot when I was connecting with WiFi. I switched to a powerline network and it has been OK since then (though I bet I've just jinxed it for this download).
Also, no idea if it is still broken but there used to be a bug in the status update code, where the download would actually resume from where it left off, but the display would reset which made it look like you were starting from scratch each time.

I hope that bug is the case. Just got to 56% and then *poof*. Gone again. This has got to be my 10th attempt thus far.

I'm at 94% now. I uninstalled the client and started from scratch. Strange the first three times I tried to download the patch was from a fresh install of the client as well.  oh well 9 seconds left now.
