It's just railguns in general.
Being able to sit in the redline with a brick tank, taking pop shots at my dropship while I try to be useful, is entirely infuriating, especially when you manage to put some heat on said tank and he just trollolols his way backwards and recalls.

Blind? You must be picking some bad spots to camp, considering you can get a commanding view of most maps while having excellent cover to roll into at a moments notice

Ain't artillery style weapons a b*tch? Learn to fly! Rail tanks on the redline have been the least of my problems in a DS. The installation rails that the blueberries cap only to have them get capped back to red are a bigger problem. Never seen you before. Artillery usually fires in an arc, and generally requires a spotter.
I also don't fly around the flight ceiling with afterburners all game

I've used railguns, and when you say minor, you mean minor, it is hardly noticeable, unlike typical artillery which is designed to make use of a high arc to achieve maximum distance. The travel time is a bit slow, but when you hit like an MCC, it's the least they can do to even you out.

And being blind past 200M? what's that for? to force us into places we're not meant to fight in so that we get slaughtered by AV? The exact same thing happens to dropships, you're preaching the choir.
That has nothing to do with balance and everything to do with faulty mechanics
