You're either the most, or least skilled player in this game A lot of "good" dropship pilots don't have this issue because they fly ADS and hug the flight ceiling most of the game, so they're not anywhere near RDVs being called in. Thankfully they changed RDVs to come in pretty low now, but it's still like roulette. Half the time they won't even render until after you're on fire Win ISK / Vids / O7

Perhaps you need to fly lower as a rule? or perhaps higher? Or perhaps wait for the RDV to leave before you take off? Chivalry is not dead, but many who practiced it are.

Some people just have worse luck, wrong place wrong time. All it takes is flying within shooting distance of the ground to make you subject to this. Plenty of the time the sound will glitch, or they won't render until a few seconds after their cloak goes down. And as a rule of thumb, the more you fly, the more likely you are to run into this. It's gotten better over the months, but it's far from gone. Win ISK / Vids / O7

After Uprising I was trying to make my ship work as quickly as possible to be viable for PC, so I just constantly deployed with all the cash I had gotten from closed beta, in the hopes that maybe it was just my tactics, or I had the wrong fit.
