If the Amarr were space marines they all would have to kneel before the emperor and apologize as his crusade is about the liberation of mankind not the worship of a god. The emperor is described as a "man god" but he isn't to be worshiped and it is against what he wanted which is what started the horus heresy, the space marines are all about duty and honour to their "deceased" leader and his plan to liberate humanity and cleanse the galaxy of xenos. If they worship anything it would be the codex astartes and each chapters respective combat doctrine. The "Faith" the chaplains promote is nothing more than to keep a space marine duty bound and resist the temptations of chaos.
Some one in my corp told me that the Amarr are basically like Arabs so im guessing you guys will be strapping remotes to your cars and grenades to your chest and then proceed to Allah Ackbar the enemy team....and that conlcudes the racist portion of this post, im very sorry

And based on several of their action, such as sending ISK carepackages to those in need, even the enemy, building schools and hospitals in run down Matari space, or even reverse engineering our own implants and gifting them to the other three empires to save them the trouble of the whole "514" problem, Amarr are very much watching out for the well being of New Eden.
If you were to read a fair bit of stories of New Eden, you'd see the Amarr aren't as crazy as you think. They go to school in a very relaxed open minded manner, they have summers where all the kids go to beaches to surf and hang out, they live in very ethnically diverse cities, while they are united in religion they celebrate individualism. They also value human life, and are not so keen to accept the lose of innocent life as collateral damage as other empires, particularly the Gallente Federation who very frequently kill their own civilians in the process of hunting down the enemy.

Now that the details have been revealed, allow me to introduce myself on behalf of my brothers, my Empress and my Lord.
Hello.
I am Lea Silencio.
I will destroy you and any other of Minmatar's "best".
I will make you relive death...constantly.
I will make you become intimate with your respawn timer...constantly.
I will take you, your family, your home, your land, your freedom and your sense of entitlement...
...and bury all in the ground.
My brothers and I will pick up the pieces of your shattered Matari image.
Consider that a warning or a threat.
Take your pick.
See you on the battlefield.
Pray for mercy.
I was there for the last push. It was very impressive...for the 3 days it lasted.
And I'm afraid you misread my post, I'm not the best, I'm the average.
The Amarr have already taken my family, my home, my land and my freedom. I relive my death a dozen times a night. The only thing I have left is the will to fight. Good luck with taking that. |

Of course.
We welcome new members, tour of duty players, and also personally I just plain like meeting other players. PIE Ground control and SCIAT are the chats you want to be in.
Oh and love the name btw I'm a hardcore DeS and DKS vet.

I can still tour without actually joining, right? Can just squad up? Taking part in a Tour of Duty does require that you actually join the corporation, and then after the tour you return to your original corporation. It's a decision based on our philosophy (see second post: Athran Philosophy) in regards to unity and how that benefits Amarr.

So why not simply sign up for a Tour of Duty and then work on getting back into your corp after, which you'd have to do anyways? Or as you said, become a long term member.

Lightning and Fire Great Scythe, Ascended Pyro Flame, Dark Hand
Ultimate DPS monster.
Normally I rocked 0 poise though. SL 55-80. Most forum events and tournaments were at that SL

Yeah it got to the point where I was confident enough to face down the longspears, like your demons spear, and the DSS with relative ease. At that point the game was just a way to farm Eyes of Death.
I still think I hold the record for most EoD donated to Nito on something like 650ish.
