No double/triple sp event

item event only good for people using the new rifles (as opposed to any weapon last month)

Devs are 14 hours ahead of me(CST), meaning I will not see any in-game because when they are asleep I am playing.
Aside from that, how many of the thousands of players in dust will even be able to participate in this? Even playing in the right time-zone, at the right time when dev are on, chances are the matches will fill up in a heartbeat....

CCP Santa is coming to town and he's bringing a squad of developers with him! They're coming to spread mayhem and destruction, gunning down any and everyone who isn't on their side. Throughout the days of December 16, 18, and 20, special contracts will be appearing in the Other Contracts tab. You can either fight with your favorite CCP developers or against them. No matter what, you'll earn double SP and ISK for any Dev Invasion you participate in. Plus you get to kill or protect (let's just be honest, you're going to kill us) DUST 514 developers!

The Other Contracts will appear at random times during the days of the event, so check often in-game to see when they become available.

Players participating in this event will receive bonus skill points and ISK as rewards. These rewards will be given after the event has concluded.

Disclaimer: all in-game items lost and or destroyed during the event will not be refunded so be careful of what fittings you use during the event.

So the Dev event days are on a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday? Do you guys assume that none of us work/go to school? Why can't these dates be on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday instead?

We're going to have the events scattered throughout the day (both in Shanghai and Reykjavik) so there should be quite a few games for you guys to join at varying times. The games on Monday (Shanghai time) should fall on Sunday evening for you guys in US timezones.

Weapons Trial: Rifle Round Up [Dec 18th - 25th]

The Combat Rifle and Rail Rifle have been released into the hands of mercenaries across the cluster. Now it's time to put them to the test! Take one of the new rifles out into the field and cut down your enemies with them. For every ten kills you score with one of the new rifles, you'll earn 1 free AUR Prototype version of the same rifle, up to a maximum of 100. You might even discover a new favorite.

This event is for public and faction warfare contracts only.

You may use any standard or advanced version of the Combat and Rail Rifles to qualify for the reward.

The AUR prototype reward type will be announced later on the events page.

CCP Santa is coming to town and he's bringing a squad of developers with him! They're coming to spread mayhem and destruction, gunning down any and everyone who isn't on their side. Throughout the days of December 16, 18, and 20, special contracts will be appearing in the Other Contracts tab. You can either fight with your favorite CCP developers or against them. Carbon 7 will be standing with the Devs from tomorrow against the oncoming swarm. We'll be expecting a lot of resistance so we'll be pulling out all the stops, also can the Devs remember to bring plenty of Hax!!!
