That the Scrambler pistol is a laser based weapon, why does it not have any danger of overheating? All of the other laser based weapons overheat, and therefore are best utilized with Amarr tech, why not the sidearm of said grouping? This is not one of those "nerf/buff" threads, just a casual observation.... |

Again like I said before, I have no problem with the pistol, nor any other gun in the game for that matter. I was just curious as to why a laser based weapon didn't overheat, assuming it drew its power from the same source as other weapons of its type. Assuming that the same power source being fitted into a smaller housing would also warrant the energy being vented at a faster rate, it makes a small bit of sense. Nothing troll about my logic, only logic about it. At best it was a question, not a suggestion. Internet slang equals for the loss.

One of the downsides to my not being on the game at the same time as I am the forum, I didn't even think about reading the description haha. It only came to mind as I was going over the weapon groupings in the 1.7 weapon update post. Thanks for that info Aero. |

I may have noticed it before, but never thought to ask about it, I generally limit my foruming to observation. The 1.7 weapon notes brought it back to my attention with the weapon group charts...Also I just got done tooling around with them in ambush before downtime (I got back online to read some weapon descriptions heh), and I did notice the heat build up effect on my sidearm alt, I have 12 or 13 shots with prof 4 and Min Assault lvl 4... |
