I can talk on the forums like anyone else, but in honesty, you dont get to know who you're voting for like that. So I invite anyone who wants to, to send me a squad invite or join my squad should you see me in game and get to know me. I want the community to know who they'll be voting for when the time comes around and make an informed opinion on it.
You can also find me in the channel Scouts United (for my scout brothers out there), Drunk Night and the VOTE FOR DELT channel.
I look forward to squading and playing some matches with anyone interested.
Are you PC active? Is your corp PC active? Oh dear goodness, if part of the qualifications to vote for CPM1 is being apart of a PC corp, then I will cringe. PC players make up a very small minority in Dust. PC is still important, but it's not the "end all" point. Honestly it is important. You don't have to be the best just be able to compete. In PC things happen for a reason not just because. I agree that PC is important - how do we expect you to understand anything if you aren't using any weapons or gears competitively? Testing things out in pubs is hardly proving to anyone that you know what you're doing.

Delt, a little advise. I admire your courage and wish you well in your running for CPM1. However you are missing many qualifications.
- You are not enough of an ass to be part of the council.
- You have nothing to gain from being a part of the council.
- You want to represent the players.
- You have no personal agenda.
I wish you luck. SoTa PoP for CPM1!

Dust MUST be balanced from the top down not the bottom up. If you ever notice the top players using certain weapons and suits there is usually a reason why (not FOTM they usually start the trend tbh).
Your KDR isn't high enough to have an opinion.
PC is where one can find out how well you really understand the mechanics of this game and how to best put them to vantage. The one requirement that people seem to confuse when we say, "Must be a PC player" is being one that's always on a winning team. It's not the fact that you win PC's that important - but the fact that you're in it enough to understand how things are handled at the highest points of this game.
Example: If you play PC enough you'd understand LAV's have a limited use thanks to uplink spam, if you need to go somewhere fast, it's usually to a hot zone or an objective, in which case Uplinks should be nearby, that's how a good team operates. But if you don't PC you'd probably see LAV's as menacing and evil, not just an easy to blow up bucket.

It doesnt go well. How about running a scout suit? Nope, they cant seem to do that either or even running std gear in pubs, but thats too hard for them. A member of the CPM in my opinion should at least try to help out new players instead of stomping on them. They should try something other then cookie cutter crap like FOTM builds and brick tanking. Yet you see almost none of them trying so. Are... you drunk? Maybe you're high? Both?
I didn't realize every good player in dust recorded themselves for you to see. May I have this amazing link to whatever imaginary website you have that lets you see what others can't?
CPM in GENERAL is about helping every aspect of this game - new comers as much as old vets. Regardless of why you got voted in, or what you specialize in, once your CPM you're going to pay attention to new comers and there woes. But what we're talking about is your lack of PC experience to understand the short comings or OP of gears, mechanics, suit set-ups, and how things can be deployed together to give an infinite edge and how it effects the flow of game and how counters are effective or ineffective.
And, please, get it out of your head that every top player is a FOTMer

Im neither, iv seen, talked to and fought against regulars of PC. and if you think you need to run PC to learn the mechanics of this game, you are about as dense as a quasar. I'm dense then - care to explain how having no PC experience sets you up to understand anything? I'm sure that pub stomping, that you seem to look down on, is such a great way to find out how useful everything is...

If you have such high expectations for a CPM nominee, and you think that someone should have loads of PC experience, then go and run for it yourself. You obviously think of yourself highly enough, and that should be more than enough reason to qualify you right? Since when did having PC experience mean having high expectations? PC is 1/3 of this game currently but I guess you will never know. I would of just ignored him. You didn't say anything that sounded like you were chest beating or belittling anyone in comparison to yourself to of made you sound like you consider yourself highly.
But mentioning KDR does seem to rattle a lot of peoples hearts around here, though. Lol

You are sooooo wrong. How can you leave out PC yet speak for the community? The smallest part of the community plays PC. Thats how. You're being dense - We never said PC represents the players, it represents the game itself and how it's played on it's highest tiers. CPM helps with balance decisions and helps CCP see how changes effect everyone, both Pubs and competitively, yet you want to champion just the highest percentage of players using pubs?

Quote:CPM helps with balance decisions and helps CCP see how changes effect everyone That itself is a laughable statement. And proof why you're not fit for CPM.
CPM needs people who are vocal and open, as well on facts with data from in-game and experience. You've already shown you'd put your own opinions above others, even if they have more experience then you, and make beliefs based on opinions rather then facts.

Being ******** and trolling are two different things, though I doubt you can tell the difference. Stating I dont care about this game as much as you do is also an opinion, not a fact. My lack of skill points in diplomacy is because I dont care for the opinion of arogant morons like yourself who cant see past their own HUD. I'll break this down for you since I made an error earlier in one of my posts and misunderstood you.
1) Comparing trolls with retards is a weak way to shake off how poorly your responding.
2) It's only not a fact if it's not true. Can you be certain you care for this game as much as I do?
3) Your lack of skills in a public discussion is your own issue - the why of to why it happen is irrelevant compared to how you handle it. Which was poor.
I only wanted to see if you can handle the position, so I brought up PC and the experience needed, but I doubt you could handle the position judging from your responses and criticism of PC.

This is where corps carebear to earn isk, and EVE players have very little to do with Dust at all. Faction Warfare will be a much better step towards EVE players connect to dust in the first week of 1.7 then PC has been since its release. Damn man you have no ******* clue apparently so let me caps lock it for you. YOU ARE *badwords AND WILL NEVER BE A CPM. THE TOP PLAYERS AND TOP CORPS CARE ABOUT THIS GAME MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW. APPARENTLY. ISK IS MEANINGLESS BECAUSE THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT GOOD/FUN FIGHTS PLUS IF THEY WANTED IT THEY WILL TAKE IT. P.S. OUR ALLIANCE HAS NO PROBLEM OF PROVIDING EVE SUPPORT WHICH IS AWESOME BTW. If top corps and top players cared about this game, they wouldnt run prototype gear in pub matches. Until Top players get that they are hurting the new player base and actually change their attitude in pubs, they give zero fucks about this game and are helping it die. Found another reason you're a poor CPM pick. You blame players rather then CCP for bad game mechanics.

Did... you just compare a game mechanic to real life murder?
So... I got proto gear... so that I could look at it all day? PC only happens for me maybe 5 times a day on an active day, so for 5, maybe 7 games, I get to use the gear I spent months grinding to get... because if I use it in the only other game mode available: pubs, I'm.... killing the game?
You do not get to criticize people who've spent time and effort into this game for using there toys in the only place they can actually play without a full organized team and stakes involved. That's just insane. If it's truly game breaking as you claim, then CCP would do something, as it's there responsability, not ours, to do so.
Would you put a level 50 against a 100 and just say, oh well it's pub, and think they'll have a good experience together? No, it's wrong. And it's no one's fault but CCP's.

Use it in Faction Warfare, pubs are no place for it. It really does nothing but hurt new players. *takes troll cap off for a bit*
On that subject - Is there really a difference between pubs and FW, at all? Qsyncing being easier is all I can think of - so in that line of thought, wouldn't using proto in FW be as bad as in pubs since it's still ruining peoples experiences?

It seperates you from the majority of new players. How? It's just a different click for them. Anyone can access FW as easily as a pub. In fact, going by instinct, no facts, I would assume FW be the more popular game mode for noobs since it involves some sort of story compared to just pubs itself. They will see running pubs safer then FW should people not protostomp in pubs any longer. If you're debate is player experience, where is it more important. A game that doesn't matter, or a game that effects lore in some small ways?
But if this is your logic I don't disagree with it. Players may enter FW - see all the top tier guys and gears going at it - get stomped -t hen go back to pubs to grind to get ready to back into FW. I love that concept, but I'd prefer FW to be just locked in general until a player reaches a certain SP point. But that's just an opinion.
But with FW taking away ISK gains - proto stomping in pubs won't stop.

In fact, going by instinct, no facts, I would assume FW be the more popular game mode for noobs since it involves some sort of story compared to just pubs itself. People loved to feel involved on that Starmap lol
Finally agreeing on something. We'll squad up sometime, I'm SoTa PoP, I feel we may of just gotten off on a bad foot, or I misrepresented myself as too trolly somewhere down the line and turned you off.

He trolls local and public channels with one hand while trolling the forums with the other, using a 1993 St. Louis Blues beer-dispensing hat to supply his hydration needs!!! Tell me, as proof, do you...... like AMV's? (I know for a fact SoTa's stance on them ) Anime is gods gift to man.

I'm a big fan of certain American voice actors (Doug Stone, Vic Mignogna, Crispin Freeman to name a few), so any anime I watch with them voice acting in I have to watch dubbed instead of subbed.
I R ASHAMED.... I prefer some anime in dub. It's preferance. I just think japanese VA's sound adorable for there overly-cute characters. It's a perfect match.
And good points Black Art.

It doesn't take Einstein in a PC match to work these things out. What, are you even talking about?

It doesn't take Einstein in a PC match to work these things out. What, are you even talking about? Presumably you are capable of reading, and yet your confusion will not be resolved merely by re-reading my post... LAVs can get places quickly, and once upon a time were even more popular in pub matches, but were really rather easy to blow up with AV grenades (or swarms if they became too incessant). Therefore, I would use those very weapons more, and drop many gagued uplinks, which could help my team more and get me more WP than investing in LAVs. All this, despite the fact that I am a lowly occasional mostl-solo player of only pub matches. And so, it seems, things can move at the lowest levels, too. If this idea needs further explanation, then perhaps you should rethink your assumption that PC is truly the home to an exclusive pinnacle of intelligence in DUST. Uh...
Let me try to this straight.
SoTa says: LAV's are limited use in PC, uplinks pretty much are everyones go to for transportation, and they're spammed on both sides everywhere.
When then you say: I've been crapping on LAV's and spamming uplinks....
I ask, "Huh?" Not understanding if you even had a point...
Then you reply: Can you read?! LAV's are quick! But died fast, so I used weapons that killed them and dropped uplinks, which helped my team as I farmed WP, which works better then investing in LAV's (??)
Am.. I getting this right? I really don't know, your style of speech is so rigid and your points are all over the place. One moment it seems like you're trying to say I'm wrong, but you then go on to support what I said originally...
