I'm affected by the scrambler rifle and assault rifle getting increased range as well as the new combat rifle and rail rifle getting increased range, thus all of them will be able to out range the laser rifle.

- My Alliance, which is heavily involved in EVE side Factional Warfare, will now have much more incentive to give a helping hand to Dust side battles.
- My LAVs, which have been a non-factor on the battlefield since Uprising (or going back to Chromosome missile nerf), now will potentially be back as a force on the battlefield.
- I now get compensated as a vehicle driver for scans
- They've made the life of a person who avidly uses the repair tool much easier.
I am seriously looking forward to this patch.

I mostly play heavy so 1.7 means 2 more weapons that vastly out range me and I'll hold my comments on the V/AV balance until after I've fought some vehicles.
How to make a Heavy Laser: 1.Take laser 2.Make it REALLY BIG 3.Give it to the heavy sobbing quietly in the corner.

I won't be able to take FW seriously any more. FF is like the early days of FW in EVE. It's lust going to be one big trollfest of TKs. So, I'm going to side with the trolls for fun.
Tanks. I will be starting over on the whole play testing for tanks. That's really all I do with a game like this anyway is play test and trash things to see how they work. This will be interesting. I'm using this as an excuse to redo this char on his own account to retrain shield tanks. This original char wil then be saved for Amarr tanking.

Is very happy with the vehicle respec and the new weapons. Looking forward to rail rifles to play around with though they are low priority. With the respecing of vehicle skills I will have new ways to tank on my alt. Really looking forward to it honestly.

Straight off the back I'm gonna proto out my Scout suit and see if they've done anything new to DS's (new cam at least)
My assault suit is getting a shiny new gun to play with and maybe proto HMG for the heavy.
The best part for me is I'm gonna hit FW hard and empty my bloated wallet to get the maximum standing I can get. If the new suits, weapons and vehicles look awesome then I'm gonna love it even more.

with the goal of pubs being making isk i see people running isk efficiant fits there rather then full proto.
that doesnt really make stomps go away as my guys have been testing "basic stomps" for a few weeks and even in basic gear experiance and skill > gear |

I usually run my fits based on risk assessment no matter what mode I am inGǪ I don't have proto as i run Gal scout and I don't like the slot layout for proto
And i agree that for many skill > than gear. I've actually run across a few names and corps that i recognize doing similar play without the proto

I'm not getting a straight answer from the OP so I must assume that he has no idea what the actual penalty is for extenders. The penalty for depleted shield recharge delay is only 3% per extender which I would have a hard time as classifying as the "hard life".

I should hope so. Ok so maybe saying unfair was a slight miscommunication; as IGÇÖm all for having the upper hand but I like it when the other team show some initiative, does not give up and keeps the ball rolling.
I just feel that the people without EVE support will give up on FW, which is good I guess because it means the more hardcore FW players will stick around. I dunno its too early to call these things out, lets see what happens.
BTW IGÇÖm fighting for Loldari, so IGÇÖll see you in the burn zone.
