(bad furry was a better tanker then me, but i had better aim :P fear me infantry my wrath will be very disproportionate)
Because despite "not seeing infantry further than 30m" apparently all redline rail tankers have ESP and can snipe people, vehicles, and installations from across the map, I've seen some even shoot actual snipers in the other redline, all while hiding on a hill ready to duck into cover at the first sign of AV.
That's probably why.
You snipe @ people, they get pissed. You snipe @ them with OHK weaponry, a lot of them get pissed and hunt you down. That's how it works. Ask a Thales user.

Fox has been here longer than I have, and he's been flying dropships since I met him right after Replication ended. Remember back when Line Harvest was the only map in rotation? Back then he was flying dropships at full speed beneath the table top in the center of the map.
Bottom line: Fox knows of what he speaks.

You're basically sticking a banner over your head saying "I really really don't want to die!". Cowardly, hah. I redline sniped yesterday, given my team was redlined, and murdered some tanks and dropships. You know, during the revolutionary war, the British called the Americans cowardly for not standing in nice neat rows to be fired upon. Battle A is real
Battle B is a game
In Battle A, real people really die, no fun is had, there are no devs around trying to make sure that all players on at least semi-equal footing, and every cheap tactic is valid if it keeps you out of a coffin.
Battle B is supposed to be a balanced fun game where everyone has an equal chance of killing or being killed based on skill, experience, and effort spent on making your fittings survivable. This is not accomplished by allowing tanks to rely on inaccessible portions of the map to hide in while sniping the field.
Here's an idea: If a person on your team earns WP (apart from equipment/squad leader WP) within the redline and doesn't leave the redline within 10 seconds, your redline disappears and enemies can enter it for the next minute. A countdown timer appears in the corner alerting people how long until the redline reappears. Boom, all redline issues fixed.
