This game is supposed to incorporate all 3 dimensions of warfare into a single match why is it that so many people think this is supposed to be mainly about infantry. CCP as stupid as they can be understands that they are going to get their core group of players will be mostly infantry so they developed that aspect the most so they could survive as a game they needed the player base. This game intended for air vehicles, ground vehicles, and infantry to work together in harmony yet most people seem to think it is an infantry game if it was why would there be a 15-16mil sp sink for tanks and most likely the same amount for the DS.
So many people tell me I want TANK 514 when I call for AV nerfs or tank buffs but guess what it's not INFANTRY 514 either it is DUST 514 where it is supposed to incorporate all 3 aspects of gameplay and hold them to equal importance.
Vehicle rework scheduled for 1.5.... 1.6.... 1.7........

Till then it is a infantry centred game Currently it is because that is the most developed area but when I call for changes many people believe it is meant to be infantry centered.

Till then it is a infantry centred game So it's an infantry centered game because there aren't all racial variants out for vehicles, even though the same goes for infantry too? We don't even have all the vehicles out forget about variants.

The guy who designed tanks originally in DUST 514 was quoted many times saying that tanks in DUST 514 are end game. They are to cost the most and take the most SP to get into. he has been relieved from CCP's employ..
I've always wanted tank's more expendable so everyone that wanted could get into them and kinda make it work... So there would be huge 6vs6 tank battles.
Dropships where supposed to be the main troop transport and wasn't meant to be an offensive platform. The offensive abilities from the dropship was supposed to come from the mercenaries in it using their actual guns.
I think every seasoned gamer want's that complexity that vehicles bring to strategies and tactics. I do agree it there needs to be more infantry than vehicles that is just common sense but I would like to see more than 1 tank a game for both sides that goes for all vehicles
DS that you could shoot out of would be epic but you know how annoying a guy with a Thale in a DS would be get a few kills reposition repeat.
