Many people say it is a no skill weapon because it has a locking and homing mechanism.
So how do we make these people happy without removing them?
Simple, just give us dumbfire back like we've been asking.
Suddenly, the locking feature doesn't seem that bad does it?

Have you ever used skilled into a Swarm Launcher?

You do no more damage than the MLT Swarm Launcher, and they barely do any damage at all when a vehicle has hardners on. Maybe it's your bias that says their too easy.
And I don't think you've taken a look at it's bonus.

Well you pilots are the one's who call them a scrub weapon because of the homing feature.
Through your point of view, the Swarm Launcher getting dumbfire again would finally put the skill back into it.

Their are plenty of more options before giving back dumbfire.
Shrinking lock on area, reducing lock-on range, etc.
Reducing lock-on range is already being done so that SLs wont be 400mm away with no risk.
I'm using this to prove a point to those who think that SLs shouldn't have locking features by showing them that the locking mechanics are better off this way in terms of balance.
Though I do miss my Wirykomi shotgun
