Hey everyone, i'm just wondering about some good mini assault tips, i am planning on burst rifle, and smg on the 10th.
Double Ishukone smgs sound fun.
Any good tips?
Thanks.

I play mine as an assault flanker and get reasonable results from it. Mini assault has the weakest tank out of any of the assault suits, so use your speed to make up for it. Never attack from obvious directions, get up high or low, and use cover to your advantage. And don't be afraid to use that extra speed to pull out and recharge.
And as our shield tank is fairly weak anyway, I find it's useful to use recharge modules instead of just stacking extenders, to get me back into the fight quicker. Not so great if I need to stand and deliver, but great for hit and run.
Paired with the inbuilt armor repair you have good longevity, but only if you know how to avoid a fair fight.
The armour repair goes well with a single armor plate in low for extra survivability, but that about the extent of useful low tanking you can get. Anything more than that and you lose your speed advantage, but the movement penalty from a single enhanced plate can be compensated for with 3 levels in biotics.
As a flanker, I run a profile dampener as a standard so I don't pop up on anyone's passive scan and can avoid some active scans.
As I'm generally moving along lesser travelled paths and getting behind enemy lines, I find drop uplinks are a good match equipment wise.
With the assault bonus, you side arm is can be very important and can definitely replace a light weapon. Double SMGs can be a great fit, but you need a tight setting for it to be useful. I have a similar fit that uses double scrambler pistols, side arm damage mod and an active scanner, but it's only really useful in the smaller maps.

When using a minmatar suit its critical that you get your biotics so you can get as much speed as you can. This will allow you to enter and run from a fight or get into a flank position much faster than usual.
A basic minnie will only have 1 low slot so i would use a basic armor plate for survival. Ths suit has a built in rep which is actually awesome. Fight with your shields in mine and when your shields get low or taking a lot of fire the armor cusion will allow you a extra buffer to get away and eventually top off with the the single rep but it keeps that buffer up in your downtime after shields come up.
At advance and higher you can be very creative. You can use the lows for speed tank, omni-tank, shield etc.
You could raise your overall eHP with 2 plates in lows but you'll sacrifice your speed. Don't really rely on it but i have used it to max out my HP whenever i mass drive or just brick tanking. I wouldn't brick tank as primary means though other suits can stack either one better but you lose out no matter your route. It won't be as high and therefore not as effective
for a fast front-line brawler i use shields and stack a plate with a rep for a good recovery between firefights also a enhanced damage mod will hopefully drop enemies before they can do a lot. With the burst CR coming out it should synergise with the hit fast and hard and jet before you draw to much attention
for speed tank. You can put kincats, stamina or both. A shield regenerater in low may not be much but using the extra speed with a faster regen should keep you healthy but you won't have the tank and therefore avoid face to face or multiple combatants in close battle you can also put a complex dampener on and you be close to being scout material. i.e cqc maps
Also most would rather use shield extenders but a simple recharger can actually help quite a bit even if only 1. I still think the minnie is still a bit under performing a bit but its probably just the TTK and HD and every suit has problems with that. However if i could buff a minnie in anyway i would add a 3rd low slot or give suit bonus to movement speed in general.
