You're delusional. It's just a standard uplink, and only one active at a time. Those things cost 900 ISK. That means you'd have to go through 44,445 of them before you get your money's worth.

You must not understand what a limited edition item is that gives you unlimited usage so you can, in the long run, save isk.
It's called investment and yes I do have BPOs and made over 130 mill isk alone in using them instead of the normal purchased gear (but i still use them once in a while!)

To answer the OP any BPO from now on such as Templar, Dren etc will be going for a heck of a lot more when the market opens and IF CCP has the mind to allow BPO trading to occur. You can get one for 40 mill isk now that's going to be a good bargain considering FW doesn't pay out ISK anymore and FF is on.

Even taking into account the people who have played since open beta hit, there's not many people that have that many deaths. Not to take into consideration that a lot of your deaths you wouldn't be using a drop uplink and thus not count towards you making the profit. Or that even among the times you'd die using an uplink, you wouldn't want to use a standard-grade uplink. That is a very, very long term investment, and once you start to make the profit years down the road (yes, years) it will at a very minimum rate.

Also there are other BPO drop uplinks out there, the Templar one isn't really that special. I can understand people paying big money for the suits since they look different, but the Templar Drop Uplink is just a plane jane uplink.
