Seen many heavy suits lately? Me niether. If you do a lot of Planetary Conquest, maybe you see more heavies than I do, but to a casual gamer, the heavy is a myth. If you see one, you kill it and brag. The HMG should be the most devestating weapon at mid or close range, but it's crap. Ok, you don't have to reload it as often... but that's it? Maybe we can save the heavy with a Commando upgrade. I ask you: have you seen a Commando this week? A single Commando? Just one? Nope. Please, CCP, give the heavies their balls back! The Commando idea was a good start - but it lacks, uh, everything. And the HMG is weaker than the AR and SR somehow. The next time I lose a clone, I want to lose it to a player using a heavy fit. |

yeah.... I recently played a skirmish, and actually died a couple times to a heavy. but that was only because he ambushed me at the CRU spawn. Scum.
He wasnt a good player. Once I got some distance on him... only about 20m.. I beat him 1 on 1, playing peek-a-boo around corners. Took me 3 pistol clips, cause I'm not that good either lol. But some of the decent heavy players I've seen in the past, would have nailed me, I think. I left myself in the open for a full second one time, and I dont think he even tried to fire at me, even though he was facing right at me. Weird.

Stop it bad op bad CCP only cares about ar variants and medium suits. Heavy's scouts most vehicles can suck a big baby d!ck for all they care. I'll just continue using my peashooter and wear my heavy suit but I'm not expecting any fix anymore because CCP honestly doesn't care no events for us heavies no new variants and commando wasn't for heavies we don't use light weapons. If your a heavy expect nothing and you'll be happy

Takes balls to roll a heavy anymore, you know you are going out with a handicap, but I still do ok, when the HMG and commando become what they were supposed to be, it will be a joyous murderous day indeed! |

I run heavy 24/7 and am doing VERY well 33+/5. The problem is NOT the suit but the gun choice. CCP gave everyone the hint when commando came out. I use my heavy for front line. 1800hp Lvl 5 all skills.

The problem is not that Heavies are completely terrible, the problem is that the suit is pure crap until you can get a lot of proto mods. |

I've switched to a scrambler rifle and u can't tell you how many heavies i have two v owned in cqc. I always feel bad cause I've been a heavy since day one replication. Now I do 10 times better with a logo suit and a rifle.

The heavys have balls. Most refuse to put them on the chopping block though.
If you rock a heavy you must expect the hate on the field. Before Uprising everyone ran like lil b*tches from heavys and they are just getting their pay back.
Lol but they forget the buff and nerf cycles like to make come arounds and ill be right there...

Ya, I've been having dusty mountain oysters every night for like the past seven months now. I'm tired of heavy's balls. Probably about time we remove them from the menu. Put those poor heavys and their balls out to pasture.

nah our balls are still nailed to the ground by CCP until they decide to give it back to us, we'll just have to deal with it.
but once CCP gets the heavies fixed up proper, we'll be murdering all those that laughed at us

Might have been a friend of mine actuly, he bought a pile of the AUR suits and really likes running a commando as a heavy assault with a proto SCR/shotty combo. He is skilling into them but just burning his aur suits till he gets the SP. Goes by the name of gigga blast from rejected clones if any one feels like hunting him lol. |

My god... The HMG is just so bad. The only time I could get a kill would be within 10-15m, and even at that range an AR just absolutely SHREDS you before you're able to get the kill. Without a Logi constantly following around and repping you, you might as well be a walking corpse.
I thought all the complaints about Heavies were just coming from complaining players, but after trying damn near everything to make the HMG as viable as the AR I found it depressing how much the AR overshadows it in pretty much every way:
Damage: AR
Range: AR
Accuracy/Spread: AR
Ease of Use: AR
Compound the fact that you have the hitbox the size of a Whale and the HMG slows you while shooting... It's just disastrous. Heavies should be terrifying in 1v1 scenarios, but right now they're just so pitiful because an aim-assisted AR just melts you.
I'm saddened I wasted the SP to spec into HMGs but hey, maybe if they do ever get some love I'll try them out again. As it stands right now, they're absolutely pitiful compared to the AR/ScR.

Maybe its just the time I log on but I seam to find heavies everywhere. AR heavies, HMG heavies, Forge gun Heavies you name it I've seen it almost daily(except Lazer rifle heavies thems a rare breed.)
Of course this is in pubs and I even occasionally come across a dedicated heavy squad or so.
Their not as numerous as medium frames but their up there in numbers. more so than scouts actually
