I once had a friend named True Merc. He said to me:
"Clone, we are mercenaries. We may have been born Caldari citizens, but we sold our allegiance away when we became immortal. We will be alive long after the Gallente, Caldari, Amarr, Minmatar, and Jovians rip themselves apart. So why do we, immortals, fight for factions that will be composed of entirely different people in 100 years?
True Merc was a thinker. He isn't with us anymore, but he wanted to know, why do we fight for factions if we are immortal?
