Just wanted to leave this here for you as Fair Warning. The Scout Registry had a great run, but in the end it probably did Scouts more harm than good. Six months of data collection, 200+ Scouts, 200+ pages of focused feedback, the biggest SOS the Forums has ever seen. And we Scouts are worse off now than we were in 1.0. So I shut it down.

For what it's worth, here's what I think happened:

Just like Heavies, Scouts got hit hard with Uprising 1.0. If we had never organized, the vast majority of us would've either quit Dust or moved on to other frames. CCP might have said to themselves "looks like we have a big problem with the Scout suit ... look at how their numbers are slumping ... let's prioritize fixing them ... maybe give 'em something unique to attract folks back."

Instead, we united and became a bunch of rabid killers, swapping best practices and build suggestions, all racing for the next Tier on the Killboard, all making the best of a disgustingly bad situation. So CCP says to themselves "looks like we've done a great job with Scouts ... high fives all around ... look at how active they are ... look at how they're playing together and having so much fun ... they even made an in-game channel ... and a nice little home on the forums ... all those pages ... what could they possibly be talking about in there? ... who knows, but they must be so happy ... OK! ... time to go check in with MedFrames on IRC ... maybe make some new Rifles."
