In order to compete with the gallogi+scr+dmg mods you need a shield suit that can't afford dmgmods or a logi that atill has to getrid of shields to use dmgmods... So in 1.7 lets nerf shields ..? Whoever is in charge of balancing needs fired especially since it seems nothing is being done about TTK ... GG CCP |

Gal Logi is OP, shields aren't UP.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Also, according to IWS CCP did this to prevent tryhards from going back to CaLogi because of the combat/rail rifle. Not sure if that's going to really matter when every rifle is probably going to kill just as fast until they fix TTK. Also, is anyone else scared ****less of the rail rifle? I'm having breach AR flashbacks.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

Another shield QQ thread. I used to feel your pain back before armor was the FoTM The reason they beat shields so easy is because the ScR does 120% more damage to shields THEN damage mods and prof added onto that. A good way to fix this is to lower the amount of damage it does to shields and a VERY small damage nerf.
Times may be hard as a shield player but CCP I believe is doing this to balance out armor to sheilds and seeing what they can do to fix this.
Heavys only have 2 heavy guns. Please dont turn the NERF bat on them. Give heavys more suits or guns please :D

I'm personally suspecting that either the charge delay or the kick will leave many people disillusioned and with around 2m SP put into a weapon that doesn't do what they expected it to do.
A dmg modded blaster rifle (change the name already!) will have done about 100dmg by the time the rail sets off its first shot and the delay is likely to make people waste the first vital bullets because the target will have moved before any shots are fired.
Or it becomes the new broken OP FOTM. What do i know...

It's called my Gallente and Caldari assault suits, in which I'm doing just fine. And I avoid brick tanking as much as possible, my Caldari has nothing armor related, and my Gallente only has one extender because explosives are a *****.

Funny how there was absolutly no QQ about shields being UP and armor and damage mods being OP until the TTK dropped in 1.6. I wish that people would put the blame where it should actually rest, instead of trying to take advantage of the situation, and calling for nerfs just out of bias toward a couple of modules they seem to have a personal problem with.

I think that CCP needs to test any changes they make before releasing them. I find that they are constanly changing things, just to have to undo whatever it was in the next patch because they broke it or made it UP or OP. With this constant cycle of breaking and fixing things, how will we move forward? |

Well not only that but, there is the stacking penalty too, which means that with the third mod, the shield depleted penalty will be 2.607%, and with the forth mod it will be 1.713%, with the fifth mod being 0.849%.

I've been using Gal Logi since the Uprising respec, when it was bad because Armor plates were bad. It's not Gal Logi it's the meta. TTK is so high that speed doesn't matter, HP values do.
-Increase Complex Shields to 75HP -Decrease AR and SR damage by 20% and everything else by 10% -Increase the base Speed of Assault and Scout suits and give Scouts a second EQ slot -Give Assaults a Passive damage boost, Scouts a passive reduction to scanners, Logis a passive reduction to EQ CPU/PG(replacing HP regen), and Heavies a passive reduction to damage or passive HP regen. -Remove damage prof skills -Decrease Complex Damage Mods down to 7% |

I would agree with every thing but this. Removing prof flattens out weapons. And I don't think that is a good idea. And there was almost no QQ about damage mods before the TTK dropped in 1.6. There is nothing wrong with damage mods the problem is TTK. I would go with an HP increase to the base HP of all suits instead. This goes toward fixing the TTK problem not ruining damage mods and flattening weapons. 50 or 60 HP distributed properly racially would probably be good.
