Did CCP every specify how long the delay between burst fires is?
That will decide whether or not I get into it or stick with the SMG, if you can't almost fire the thing continuously then there's no point and I'm not getting the rail rifle because it's pretty crappy on paper (minus the range) and I don't have the PG to fit it on my suit.

Assault combat rifle is crap, might as well use a toxin smg lol, rather have the 3 shot but not it the thing locks up for too long between bursts

assault smg works pretty well and if I'm not in smg range while getting shot at by an assault rifle and I DONT have cover, then I'm doing something wrong lol, if there's a big open field to cross I either go around it, find teammates, or get a vehicle, I know how to work with close range and I'm not speccing into an entirely new gun just to help me close a gap haha

This is a good point, If I can fire the scrambler rifle faster than the assault variant then firing between bursts on the CR should be seamless, I don't mind a little delay because it would make sense, if you could fire that thing at full auto speeds it would be pulling off like 720 dps and that's just wrong lol.

the burst AR itself sucks but I remember the delay between firing to be pretty short, at least shorter than the hmg
